| Had a lot of trouble programming it in the first place, kept disconnecting and getting stuck. Also had to have tech support help to set up FM band on radio tuner. This took about an hour, and I still can't change the station with the remote. However, he was very nice and polite, and I'm sure they'd help me out with that. It sure beats having 2 or more remotes, and we do like the product overall. I would have preferred a smoother setup process, though. |

"Excellent ONE, but could be better" | 2009-12-02 |

This is a very, very good remote, as many others have reported. I'll start out with my only main negative, which is the touch screen. While it provides a sexy sort of cool factor, it is too easy to press the wrong button. I'd honestly rather see real buttons flanking the screen (like on 880). I still prefer the ONE to the 880, as it is more ergonomic for me, has better button layout, and certainly wins out in the looks department.
The programming of this remote is easy. I think this may be the biggest edge for Harmony vs other univeral remotes. Very simple to set up basic functionality, and not that much more complicated to put together sequences and macros that really make your AV experience more simple and enjoyable. Bottom line: If you are still juggling multiple remotes order the ONE today. You will be asking yourself why you waited so long to make the purchase.

"Sophisticated Remote" | 2009-12-01 |

I have owned many universal remotes in my time and they all fall short in one way or another, however this remote seems to be extremely capable of handling all of my components (Apple Tv, Vizio tv, Yamaha receiver, Dish network receiver, Tivo, Roku-Netflix box, Vizio Blu-ray player) with ease.
The remote seems well built & works well.
This is a very sophisticated remote that needs a LOT of patience and setup to get everything just right.
if your not into tweaking things for a couple of days then move on this remote is not for you.
The setup is very easy but to get things they way a very picky person (me) wants it will take a day to setup.
After the initial setup everything works very well.
The activity buttons are perfect and will really win over the harshest skeptic.
An example of what it takes to watch a Blu-ray movie on my system is as follows - turn on tv set input to hdmi 3, turn on blu-ray player, turn on surround sound receiver set input to dvd and optical in.
This is all done with one button push!
You can set up many activity buttons and name them what you want.
This is the best selling point of this remote in my opinion.
Give it a try. |

| Good price and an excellent product. You do need to play with the website assist, but it is worth the effort. Only complain is that it has to completely reload the remote for each change. So, make all the changes you need at once. I did trail and error to make sure that it worked each time. Not needed, it worked each time. Takes a while to get used to the changes and how they work, but once you get it...Wow. |

"I thought it was for my wife, but it was really for me." | 2009-11-25 |

| HD TV with 3 HDMI inputs, HD satellite receiver, A/V receiver, Blu-ray player, DVD recorder, Laserdisc player, videotape, and cassette player. I had no trouble manipulating all of the remotes and reconfiguring the TV inputs for whatever I wanted to watch, but my wife -- who rarely got to practice with the remotes like I did -- was stymied. I thought a universal remote would be a nice thing for her. After two days of use, I'm asking myself "How did I ever get along without this myself?" It really works! Set-up was easy. I installed the software on my computer, entered the brands and models of all of my components and then configured the remote automatically via the enclosed USB cable. If the software doesn't recognize a particular component, the Logitech remote can "learn" from another remote. I had to do this with my oldest component - a Panasonic DVD recorder. It was a breeze. Properly configured, a single touch on the LCD screen will turn on the components you want to use for a specific purpose (watch satellite, DVD, etc.) AND sets the TV to the correct input. Except for the DVR functions on the DirecTV satellite receiver, the Logitech remote also controls all of the functions for each component. Want to switch from one source to another? One touch will turn on the new source and (if necessary) change the input on the TV as well. I like the fact that it uses a rechargeable battery and sits in a charging cradle. I absolutely love this remote. (My wife loves it too.) |

This products has successfully changed how i view my entertainment system. I have a mixture of old and new electronics comprising my entertainment system. all of these products are now controlled solely by this universal remote control. It was simple to setup, with a little bit of know how i was able to customize it to do whatever i want it to do with no issues.
The only downside is it has a learning curve. My girl friend was initially afraid of it because it was big black with lots of buttons. But even she can now navigate with ease. I HIGHLY suggest this product for anybody with a huge array of remote controls and no where to put them!
