I am one of those people that likes relatively inexpensive watches. I have a collection of Casio, Armitron, and other brand watches along with a few Timex brand watches.
I ordered this Timex #T45951 simply because I thought it looked neat. I like Chronograph watches, but... I was looking for a watch with a leather band that was more of sports watch than a dress watch.
This Timex seemed to fit the bill... and the price was right.
When I received it, I was shocked. It was a heavy time piece. It was solid. It had a soft leather band that was relatively thick and appears to be durable. I had to read the book to understand how to operate the thing... but, after that... I have to say that I love it. The indiglo works great on this watch. And, it is easy to read at night.
Please note that the watch face and hands are not 'white'. They are more of an 'off-white'. Looks great on the arm/wrist.

To set things straight; This "chronograph" watch is nothing more than a stop watch... Don't look at the label and get discouranged from buying it... It's a watch with a stop timer build in... You can time short distance sprints and jogs plus just about anything else you would want to time??
How long does it take your kids to swim across your pool? How long does it take your dog to retrieve your newspaper from the front yard? How long does it take your wife to cook you an egg... (OK, OK.... Let's not go there...) I love the eggs my wife cook... In fact, just in case she's going to read this... I would eat anything she's cooking tonight, shut up and LIKE it... YUUUMMMMMMYYYY...
I've had it for few weeks now and generally speaking, I like it and would buy it again... I do wish however that some of the negatives I list below get addressed, if not, it's not a real big deal, it's still a good watch for the $$$
POSITIVES:
This watch looks and feels great on your wrist.
Works good and keeps time accurately.
Can be worn to work or out on the town, it projects success (which is surprising for what it costs $$).
Feels rugged and long lasting.
NEGATIVES:
A little thicker than I thought it was.
The time handles are the same color as the background so it's not very easy to see the time unless you tilt the watch a bit.
The watch bezels are a little stiff but that's probably because it's new?
The alarm sound is not as loud as other watches I owned.

I got a big kick out of reading all the reviews on this Timex Men's Expedition Watch #T45951. People complained in reviews about finger prints on the dial, a poor leather strap or not snazzy enough or expensive enough. I think this watch is superb! It keeps great time (which is what a watch is all about), it looks as good as any in my opinion and better than most and it didn't break my budget at around $60.
It is easy to set and work the various features, has a wonderfully constructed leather strap that shows quality construction and it can be worn proudly anywhere, even with your peer group. I even wore mine to church and nobody fainted.
The best thing is the way the Indiglo light works.I can tell the time anywhere, light or no light. The worst thing is the alarm is very soft and I can't hear it---might be my age and that my hearing aids are out at night. Buy this watch and you will always love to wear it and will always know the time.

I purchased the Timex #T45951 in January 2009 and highly recommend it to anyone. It's an exceptionly good buy and functins perfectly. It's very accurate; in fact, it is more accurate than a $350 Seiko chronograph I own. It's a good buy-go for it!

Dependability and style at a great price, a real value. This Timex Chrono Alarm has more features than I expected. It's packed with more features than watches I've paid much more for. I'm more satisfied with this watch than more expensive watches I own.
The dials make sense. You can actually read them. It has two alarms and I was surprised to find it has a great back light. It's possible to catch up the date or to re-adjust for daylight savings without losing your time settings.
The only minor issue is that I can't figure out what turns the beep off sometimes. (I probably need re-read the instructions.)
Overall I'm more than satisfied with this purchase. I'm a big Timex fan again.
