Our son loves this!! He really started liking it around 2 months, with the lights at the top. He would just keep looking at them, and, as he's gotten older, he continues to love it. It was great for when he was first learning to reach - there's a little monkey who's tail curves around a small loop, and, that's when I noticed he was learning to reach for things - he was determined to get the monkey! Now, and 5 1/2 months, he pulls down the monkey within the first minute of setting him under, but, he still loves it, although is starting to outgrow it a bit, as he now rolls over on his belly, and ends up kicking at the long bars that hold it together, but, even given that, it still holds up amazingly well.

My son loved this from the day we brought him home from the hospital and we haven't even used the lights/melodies part of it yet. Its a great gym. However, if you have a hardwood floor, I would recommend laying something soft down underneath the mat but I have no complaints.

This play mat is fabulous. My daughter has been playing on it since she was two weeks old and would watch me jingle the elephant rattle and swat around near it. Now at four months, she has played on this every day. She recently figured out the mode where you have to continue hitting and kicking things to keep the music going and was immensely proud of herself. She will even entertain herself on it while I make my breakfast in the morning for twenty minutes. We also use it for tummy time when she loves reaching for the crinkle leaf and watching her reflection in the mirror. This mat has been a better buy for us than the swing or bouncy seat in terms of our daughter's enjoyment. We added a couple of Lamaze toys and switch them out every once in a while to keep things fresh. My only complaint is that I have never heard of a giraffe living in the rainforest, but I don't think my infant has noticed (lol).

We bought this for my son when he was 3 months old. He LOVES it. He plays with this quite a few times a day. My only complaint is that it is really hard to store away. It doesn't fold up to the way it was when I got it. Other than that,it was worth every penny. The toys are great attention grabbers for a baby.

My 8-month-old been loving this jungle gym since he was 6 weeks old. He reached so many milestones on this mat: He started out watching the lights, then batting at the toys, then grabbing them and pulling them to his mouth, then rolling over to play with the zebra tail, crawling over to the crinkly leaf and now uses the bars to pull himself to standing (though it is not designed for this - I hang onto him so his weight's not on it). We've replaced the batteries only twice. I recommend it to all of my friends, it's just been hours and hours and hours of fun for him.

Got the Gym for my baby girl when she was 4 months old. Since then she went through several stages, like playing on her back, in the rubber sit, playing while sitting without support and crawling and this Gym still attracts her attention and she tends to spend time of her own there inspecting toys and lights. Now she even tries to pull herself up and play with the switch. Very recommended. A lot to discover for a baby. All it takes is to move it around and it seems to her like a brand new toy and the game starts all over again.

I had purchased the baby einstien mat before this one and baby didnt really care for it, this one has so much more for him to play with and look at, mat is super soft for baby belly play too!! Only two problems with product. 1) onse it is put together, it doesnt come apart for easy storage 2) butterfly mobile, is not a mobile like i thought it would be. it is not battery operated, you just have to spin it with your fingers making it hard for baby on back to make it move. BUT both i can live with, and so can baby

We bought this at full retail price when our daughter was 7 wks. She took to it immediately. But here is the real proof this was worth the$ - she STILL loves it and she's now 8 months old! We've used it daily since we bought it, just purchased some additional toys to help switch things up. The only downside was that the parrot spinner started to get rusty after months of her drooling on it. Even considering that, I would rebuy this gym in a heartbeat. The quilt has so much to look at and grab. The self-activated music is a great developmental (cause/effect) tool. Wonderful wonderful gym.

We love this play mat. The bright colors and toys are great. I like that you have the option to move the toys to different locations. The music and sounds are soothing, not annoying. My 7 week old has started to really enjoy it and even my 23 month old loves to play with it.
