I love this cologne, it is easily my favorite. I used to use polo black and when that ran out i have this a try and very happy I did. This cologne smells so manly. It smells somewhat like rum as my girlfriend told me I smelt like rum and asked if I'd been drinking when I initially put it on but after an hour it mixes with your natural smell and smells great. After buying this cologne, I got burberry brit as a gift and have to say that smells really feminine compared to double black. I highly recommend this cologne for anyone looking for a manly masculine cologne. May be a little too much for the workplace or the summer time but that's a personal decision.

I put this on and my wife said.........D**N I love this.......She keeps returning to get a sniff......I have never paid this much for smelling so good. WELL WORTH IT! WoW1, I am still amazed!

I have to say that as a dressy scent, Double Black really has it down. The 1.3oz spray should last long enough for me, considering I truly enjoy it, but it's not the best for wearing every day, all day. I wear it for dinners and ceremonies for work... it works well and doesn't quite have the knockdown power that would make it unattractive. I appreciate the maturity of the scent as well. So at the least, this poorly written review should say it's great, and not too strong... I wear Polo Black for Men by Ralph Lauren for fall, winter days, I love Polo Blue By Ralph Lauren For Men for spring and summer mornings because of its fantastic clean smell, and of course, DOLCE GABBANA THE ONE BY Dolce Gabbana For Men for nights out... so I guess if you have smelled these you should appreciate that this might work for you too, but for goodness' sake, go smell these before you buy them... a place like Sephora can be your best friend before investing in cologne.

This was a requested gift, so can't speak for the scent - however the customer service in sending/receiving was fantastic. Was mailed 3/4 way across the country and was rec'd in just a few days. VERY pleased w/the service!

My boyfriend and I instantly loved this scent. Good for winter or evenings, but a little much for summer days...hence the name, I guess.
