| This is the best game I have ever played, and I'm not usually a fan of FPS. I was on the fence about getting a PS3 given it's price, but once I played this on my friend's PS3 (stayed up all night playing it), I knew I had to have it.br /br /The other game that I HAD to own was GT Prologue (when the heck is the full version coming out anyway??)br /br /I haven't even tried playing this game online yet because the 1-player mode is so incredible - the storyline, the graphics, the gameplay...everything is incredible. I've tried other FPS after playing this (Rainbow Six Vegas is not very good...or maybe it's just by comparison), but FPS or not, this is still the best game yet. |

| The greatness of this game is something to be pondered for days. Everything from the graphics,sound and the amazing multiplayer make this game nearly perfect when compared to others. I bought this game a few months ago and I'm still working on it because there is so much to unlocking in the multiplayer. Even if the campaign was short... it was crazy intense!!!! The two things that makes this game stand from others is the fact that nearly every action in multiplayer is mirrored and seen by others. flash bang causing a reaction, clips dropping, play stance, dust and smoke etc. The gameplay in multiplayer is nearly the same as the single player campaign. Its these little things when compared to other fps multiplayers that make this game amazing!!!! |

| A game worth buying although I would say take it in small doses so you dont burn yourself out and just shelf it :(. I would sooner pick Battlefield out though. |

| I thought this game sucked, it was entirely too fast paced for me. I just finished playing MGS4 and you can go through that game without killing hardly anyone. CoD4 is just guns blazzing through the whole game with some 2 cent storyline that should have been just left out. If your too close to the enemy they will smack you with their weapon and your character dies, if you jump out in front on the enemy you can only survive like three shots before you die. |

| First time I played this game was on the 360, I immediately bought it for my PS3, then got 3 other friends of mine to buy it. I love it, they love it we all love it and still play every week battling it out on line.br /br /This game is very fun addicting all to many nights I've seen the sunrise as I've played through the night, crazy I know but it's really that fun, especially when playing with good friends! Enjoy! |

| I've had this game since it was released in late 2007, so it's been almost a year.br /I have a number of games in a number of genres for my PS3, but I constantly find myself reaching for this to play. Of course, personal taste will determine if you like first-person shooters or not, but no one can deny that this is a well-made game.br /br /The game is fastpaced and chaotic but extremely fun once you get oriented. Prior to this, my experience with FPS games was limited to the PC. It took a few hours and days to get better at controlling the two analog sticks.br /br /The game on all three platforms is great, so if you are looking for a new game to pick up and don't already have it, buy this game, and enjoy! |

| This is the first game that I have bought and played on the PS3 and I have to say that it is the greatest thing ever. The graphics are great and the gameplay is graphic. Just the way that I like it. It is an intense and realistic game. Besides being a SAS operative and a Marine you also get to be the gunner on an AC-130 and man the Mk 19 on a chopper. It is great and worth the price. |

PROS:
- Best graphics you can get on the PS3
- Addictive online gameplay will keep you hooked for YEARS.
CONS:
- No dualshock 3 support.
- story mode is only 5-6 hours depending on how good you are.
- Even though the online is the best part of CoD4, 50% of the time your game will be abruplty ended by the host or a connection failure. It can get pretty annoying.
So pretty much the online is what you'll be doing 99% of the time even though it has it's flaws. If you don't have a high speed connection I recommend you rent it. |

This game will be hard to top! its been a while since it came out already but still, this game was just rockin from top to bottom. I mean it was authentic to the point where they really sound like the air force when they were on that ac-130 gunship.
the only complaint? it was a little short, not super short but i think it could have been longer. but anyways, if you havent played or purchased this game....YOURE WRONG |
