When I first got my PS3, Uncharted 2 was one of the first games I purchased. I was blown away by how fun it was in every way. I was hooked from start to finish. Once I was done I figured, maybe the first one will be fun, too. At first it had the same feel to it; excitement behind every corner to be had. After the first hour or so, however, the story became as basic as an old school Mario story with rescuing the damsel in distress and all. Obviously the central point of the story is finding El Dorado, but soon this game became a pointless run and gun exercise. The controls and graphics are on par with the second game, but the second game pretty much fixed all the problems this game had. The trophies are almost identical to the second one as well, so this makes this game a decent rental, but I would advise against purchasing it for yourself.

Got this game for [...] bucks with my Modern Warfare 2 credit and don't have any regrets. What a great looking game. The graphics are amazing and the movie-like story is really good. Usually my wife could care less about video games, but as I was playing it last night, she was actually paying attention. The gameplay is fun and challenging. I really enjoy the game and will get Uncharted 2 as soon as I finish this one.

This is one of my favorite action third person shooter ever. The graphics are the highest spectrum and the production values are top notch. The music is very well placed and the gameplay is just incredible. I can't say enough good things about this game. The game is a little hard when it comes to the harder difficulties but that's what makes it so fun.

It's difficult to put it into words, but here I go: AMAZING AND GORGEOUS-EYE-CANDY graphics!!! You can spend hours just feeling (yes, feeling the jungle, hearing all and seeing how leaves move to the wind, admiring the waterfalls and the ripples when in ponds or deep water, splashes of water when you jump in..... IT'S ENDLESS) Now for gaming aspects: it has challenge, has kick without being impossible nor hard, presenting a good challenge (even in normal and I'm just starting to play it). Good balance and amazing how fluid you can shoot while hanging on a vine, ledge, etc..... I recommend it and hope that it is very very noticeable, catching and satisfying experience for the ones buying and playing it!
