This game is very simple and boring. I bought it for the WII expecting it to be far beyond the copy we already had for PS2 but I actually think PS2 is better.

I brought my 7-year old son to the store to look at Wii games thinking he'd pick out a car game of some sort since he's addicted to cars. What catches his attention? Big Game Hunter! I laughed and tried to turn his attention to something else figuring he, nor I, would like a hunting game. Well, he kept coming back to it so I gave in. Plus the price was pretty low (Aug. '09)

Let me just say, we both got hooked as soon as we started playing. It's no Duck Hunt, and does take a little coordination with the nun-chuck and controller. I thought my son would have trouble figuring it out but who was I kidding? Kids a wiz with the games.

You get to hunt numerous different game. You also encounter some more aggressive animals. That's where I have to caution that this might freak the young ones out. My son gets scared when some of the wild cats attack and hands me the controls to do the work.

All in all, we've been having great fun with it. Worth the money imo.

Worst game play I've ever seen for todays games. It gives you no indication of where you are supposed to go. I hunted and hunted all over the place, and kept walking into an invisible wall. I would turn, and run until I hit another invisible wall.

My daughter is 9 years old and loves this game. She spends more time on this one than any of the others. I am not a gamer but it doesn't look that hard to me.

I am an adult and an experienced hunter. I played the game with a teenager who has some experience with guns and hunting. Our opinions are the same about this game. The game has many annoying quirks and is very tedious. Either the game or the controller does not allow for very realistic sight/aiming. The cross hairs get stuck and have unacceptable lag. The game rules are annoying. The graphics are fair. It would be a great game after some improvements are made to it. I hope they come out with a patch for the software!
