All in all I enjoy this game -- for short periods. I've only made it to the third "Lab," but so far, I'm finding that almost every level is simply a game of balancing your platform so that the mercury glob doesn't fall off the edge. Don't get me wrong... lots of inventive gadgets and puzzles, but I was hoping for the ability to focus on the gadgets, and maybe solve a maze or two. Ultimately, though, winning means maintaining balance and trying to keep the platform flat after you've tilted it to roll the glob somehwere -- over and over. After playing for awhile, it almost starts to feel a little like work.

It is a great WII game. Perfect for single player or group. My family takes turn trying to advance the mercury to the next level. Loads of fun!

My 8 year old saw me playing this and joined in. Then our 11 year old neighbor joined in. All three of us are having a great time cheering for each other and helping each other figure out the puzzles. It's a great time!
Well if you're a little strap for cash in this season of uncertainty and you are look for good titles less the 30-50 dollar range that other games are price for Wii, then you're in luck. This game comes from a small media company, but it acts as if it's a pricey one. The look and design of this game are amazing I was blown away by the sheer construction of the puzzles and mazes and how complex/fun it is. Mercury Meltdown: Revolution is a puzzle game don't be fooled by the price tag of the game, it does challenge you. So be prepared in a good way. Remember those little plastic mazes with the metal ball in it? same thing only in a video game with a twist to it. The mercury ball can split and come back as one to act as different functions on the different maze levels on the game. The thing to me that frustrated me a bit was a part of the tutorials, that you have to go through when you set up your profile at the beginning of game. the first you play it ( the name you want etc), that being one of the mazes. But after you figure it out, it's simple.you might want to read the booklet first to understand it. Hint: on certain mazes you have to have the right color in order to unlock the gates to pass the next level to do this you must split your mercury ball into two halves and get colors needed and merge back together. sharp corners work well in split up your mercury ball. this game has alot of bang for your buck, so pick up a copy today you won't disappointed. the action is like real time action in real life as if you had the maze in your hands. you use the remote in this game.it's a brain teaser let you think things through.
