| I really like that it's so easy to add songs. I had a mini before and hated dealing with itunes. Now, I just drag songs in windows media player onto the device. The video/pictures it came with also seem to be super clear, but I'm more of a listening person than anything else. I really like the playlist feaure. I teach aerobics so it helps me prep for classes withouth having to mess with cds. The radio feature is also really cool-which is something that ipods lack. Overally, I am completely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. For the price, you can't beat it, and I feel like you get more for your money. |

| Have only tried this Sansa product, so am no Sansa junkie/expert, but must say that I was thoroughly disappointed. Upon downloading the Real Rhapsody software and going through all of the motions in order to download music onto this baby, I found that it literally skipped every song. Am sure that not every player they make has this glaring defect, but it was enough trouble to take music off of the thing and send it back that I just returned to the not-so-perfect but still trustworthy iPod. Additional issue was that the radio signal, in my experience, was not strong enough to pick up more than a half-dozen stations decently, and even then what was supposed to be full volume sounded like half. |

| I've been out of the mp3 market for a while. I didn't like the functionality and lack of controlled offered by Ipod. So, I tried the Sansa Fuze instead. Thus far, I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is the volume control. When i plug it in (thru the headphone jack) to a stereo or my car, i have to turn it all the way up in order for it not to be quite on the stereo. Other than that, it's great. |

| I was running two Rio MP3's for all my music. NOW, I have one with lots of functionality. Photo, FM Radio, Movie, Music. It fits inside your pocket, with sound that can't be beat. Now, I'm shopping for a desk speaker system that will enhance the sound. This will give the ipod competion, and the price is on the mark. |

"OUTSTANDING!!!" | 2008-09-18 |

| I purchased the 8G Sansa Fuze in August 2008 after painfully researching countless MP3 players and IPODs. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. For perspective, this is my first portable audio/video player so I have very limited exposure to these products. Having said this, I had high expectations as I researched many players offering 4-16G storage. The Sansa Fuze seemed to be the best value and when I received the unit, I was not let down. Physically, this unit is the perfect size for me. Small but not too small. My personal preference is not to have something the size of a matchbook although I can understand why that might be important to some. It feels light but solid and I really like the wheel as a navigation device. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. I also wanted 8G which should be more than enough storage for my needs but for an additional $25 I added the $8G card just to be sure. I wanted to download audio books from the library (which I now do) and wasn't sure how much space I would need. By the way, I haven't come close to needing the extra 8G yet...but I'm ready when the time comes. I also haven't bothered installing the included software because I tried using Microsoft Media first and it worked very easily. It takes very little time to burn CDs to the computer and once you do you simply plug in the Sansa and click "Sync." Wait a bit and you're good to go. Bottom line, this is a great unit and there has been no downside for me. |

| This is a great player. It is well built, easy to use and has a great capacity (8 GB) The ability to add an additional 8 GB card, made my player have 4x the capacity of a comparably priced ipod. I really like this player. |

"Included CD does not contain required software nor a users guide" | 2008-09-14 |

I would not have purchased this item if I had known that the icluded CD did not contain the 86.1 MB software needed to convert files to load into the device nor a Users Guide. I had to contact tech service to obtain download links. I found on their users forum that the required software does not work for the users on the forum and that no other conversion programs work at all. Don't plan on downloding video files to the device.
It also seems that additional software is required to load audio books which I haven't yet found out where or how to download the reqired program.
To summarize you can plan on spending several or more days to obtain softwre and documention to use the device,
Sansa doesn't seem to be able to provide a CD that enables the user to use the device.
Neither their product information or the products says that broadband access is required but if you are a dial-up user plan on spending a day to find out the downlod URLs and 5 to 6 hours down time while you do the downloads.

| This is the 3rd mp3 player from Sandisk that I have purchased.. My previous player was a 2GB Sansa and it was great, especially the FM radio. I saw the Fuze 8GB and thought it was time to upgrade. I love it's ease of operation and again the FM radio is a great feature. My son has a 4GB Sansa and is now asking for a Fuze after seeing mine - maybe for Christmas. I can't imagine why anyone would buy an IPod. |
