| I bought this personal cooler to keep my PS3 and LCD TV cooler. Just remember to aim the back of it out the door and not in the room or the heat will come back at you. Their is only two things I dislike about it is; you can not aim the vent at you. I aim it at the ceiling fan so it can blow back at me. It needs to be a bit cooler. Maybe 2 or 3,000 BTUs. That might make up for the heat in the back. I recommend the unit if you want it to cool you or electronics. I sometimes close the door on it, so the hot air goes out in the hallway and the air-conditioning vent pulls it up. I think over time they will perfect this item; as for now, it's a great start. | |

| Don't try to cool off your whole house with this little AC, it isn't gonna happen. But if you're trying to cool down a windowless bedroom or other room, it works great! Also it's not too heavy & it's easy to move b/c it's on wheels. | |

| For small enclosed areas it works as advertised and make less noise than a regular fan. The only draw back is controlling air direction...If you want air flow directly on you it is a little challenging. Over all it has worked great! | |

| FIRST OFF, Yes this unit LIKE ANY portable AC unit will generate heat, thats how an Air conditioner works to remove heat.
This unit if used like a typical portable AC unit will work fine for a small room AND only uses 240 watts of energy! (if vented heat goes out the window) (please note that the unit does not come with the duct or bracket to mount to a window you will have to buy that at your local home depot or Lowes) THE PEOPLE BUYING THIS UNIT PERHAPS ARE MISINFORMED HOWEVER THEY ARE WRONG ABOUT THIS UNIT. This unit is not junk, it is very reliable with 5 year warranty and over a year of use mine is still going strong...AND..mine is used 12 hours per day...AND...in the winter... thats right...mine is used IN THE WINTER TIME. It is part of a custom mod for my PC. I dont know if links are allowed here on AMazon, but i will say this...go to youtube, and search "AC LC PC" or Air conditioned Computer and you will pull up my work and see how invaluable this AMCOR unit is. Also i will add that i am one of the only people on the internet out of many millions who has videos of such a thing. Used the right way for the right reasons its totally worth its price. | |

| Out-of-the-box the unit blows cool air towards the person, and hot air out the back. I directed the hot air through a window (via a small hose), and that way it cools-off the whole room. It works quite well in this configuration. | |
