My previous CatEye cycle computer met its demise when the wire wrapping came loose on a long down hill stretch. The wire got caught in the front wheel and was severed. After a futile attempt to splice the wire back together, I bought the new CatEye wireless model.
The installation instructions were a little tricky, but I was up and running in about 30 minutes. So far, I'm enjoying the wireless aspects of this cycle computer. All of the data collection modes are working... I just need to get used to using all of them. This is a big step up from my prior basic computer. I have put the instructions in plastic bag and put them in my on board carry bag for future reference.
I hope that the battery life between the sender and receiver hardware lasts a good long time...

This Cateye performs to my satisfaction. Had no problem with the installation. It's compact and fits well on the stem. At first I wasn't sure which function I was viewing, text is a little small, but I soon memorized the order and I mostly use the average speed function anyway.

This works great, once you figure out the illustrations in the instructions. Device is sensitive on how close the sensor must be positioned.

First, thank you for your fast turn-around on this item. the cateye micro cyclocomputer is first rate. the operation is straight-forward and simple. all functions perform as advertised and the accuracy is excellent. getting through the set-up instructions was the most difficult aspect of operation although that wasn't really too bad either. I use the bike for my daily commute (4.5 mi. each way) and keeping track of mileage, top speed, average speed and elapsed time adds interest to the ride. I really like the wireless feature most of all. Overall a great product!
