This book was required for the Masters in Ed Tech in which I am enrolled. However, our first assignment was a "technology timeline" - this book only covered into the 1990s. Info was available elsewhere, but what a bad start! That's far too long a gap for this to make sense as a resource. In general, though it was probably terrific when first published, now the information is passe and obviously irrelevant to today's tech developments.

The book arrived before the expected arrival date, which was good because I ordered it for a college class and I needed it ASAP. The book was very helpful. It is an excellent book if you are not very computer savvy. It has graphics to go along with the text to further explain the concept.

I used a book of Roblyers for a MA class and again for a Dr. class from different schools. A very well published author. Good information. Does an excellent job of staying updated through editions (which you need to when writing about technology!).

When I received this book the first two chapters were torn out! How can I do homework when I am missing two chapters? How do you keep up with the class if you don't have the frist two chapters? You can not do any of these things.
