The Good - The problems are thought provoking. Challenging, yet not impossible.

The Bad - Unacceptable amount of typographical errors. Practice examples have wrong page reference numbers. The book frequently refers the reader to pages that do not exist or to wrong parts of the appendices.

Overall - fine if required for class, have no choice. But if you do have a choice, choose differently.

I'm using this for my undergraduate statistics class. First of all, the book explains some concepts well and the others very poorly. The practice problems will not follow the examples very well. It's not a matter of applying it to a harder problem; it is guessing the process for the problem. The publisher does not distinguish whether you get the WileyPlus code. I had to buy the code after buying a new book because the new books do not necessarily have the correct code. They have a code for a "partner site." Not only does the book have errors but also WileyPlus has a superfluous number of them. As a student, it is really frustrating to do the problem twice (once with the book numbers and once with the Wiley numbers to check myself) and still have it marked as incorrect. If you must use this book and WileyPlus, be prepared for hours of frustration.

The book chooses only a select few of the odd questions to answer. The answers that were provided were thorough and helpful.

I bought this book for my statistic class. this book is great. Examples are easy to follow and the theory is easy to read.

Not enough solutions were selected to help me out for the class of Statistics that I was taking. Instead of every odd problem it was more like one out of every 5 or 6 problems.
