Bought this for my daughter who isn't allowed to have a cell phone yet. This has been great fun, and a nice compromise since she can surf the web and even text a bit with the free apps! After trying this, I will definitely consider buying other Apple products - easy to use!

What an amazing little gadget... It is like a palm size computer. With that said, I do have 2 issues. The first being the need to use the pad of your finger for the touch feature. When you have nails, it is very difficult to enter the correct letter because they are so close to each other. It can be very frustrating!!! I am not sure why apple did not make the screen stylus (or nail) accessible. The other issue is it seems the battery needs to be recharged sooner than any other Ipod I have ever used. Even with the 2 issues, I absolutely love my Ipod touch!!! (This from the person who said they would never own any kind of Ipod!)This is one of the best things I have ever owned!

This is a nice handheld, can find applications for dictionary, pdf reader by "good reader." Almost a perfect product by apple, except for the cable. I've just lost 2 charging/transfer cables. One It came with the package, the other one I bought with the wall chareger (Very poorly design). I still have the old cable that came with the ipod nano 1st generation, and it still in good perfectly working condition.

I wish Apple didn't change the cables. That's my main complain.
