| the Kama controller is kind of hard to figure out how to get it to work, unless you actually read the instructions,(something I'm not to fond of -_-.....) but besides that it IS perfect. I have a rabbit and a guinea pig and they have already destroyed $60 worth of nunchucks, a $20 sensor bar and chewed on almost ALL of the wires besides the new sensor bar. It's really good because you don't have to worry about anything happening to the wire, since there is none, and you can move it farther apart from the original wii remote, (which is a big win for me because sometimes I'll be eating something like doritoes or pringles so i can use only one hand and i don't have to dangle the wii remote when I play Sims pets2)and it is really good controller that does work better than the wired one because it shouldn't come unplugged ever. Definitly a good buy, and at the price it is, It's a steal. |

"Cut the cords, not the fun" | 2009-10-14 |

Have you ever been playing Wii active and get the nunchuck wire caught on your knee; ever get caught up in the wire while on Wii Fit; how about just laying on the couch playing Zelda with your arms spread out, not wanting to be restricted by the wire length. This is the perfect solution. Just plug a tiny dongle into the bottom of the Wii remote, give it a few seconds to sync, then go off an play. Feels like a regular Wii nunchuck, so you don't have to be uncomfortable for the first few days while getting use to it.
There are 2 minor issues though, though they don't bother me much. The first is that the rubber sleeve needs to be taken off the Wii Remote to plug in the dongle. The second is that when the dongle is plugged in, the nunchuck turns on automatically. This can be troublesome if you turn off the Karma, then plug in the dongle; the Karma will turn back on, and if you don't shut it off again, you will drain the battery (but the auto shutoff will limit that).
All in all, the freedom of not having a wire [that is to short] swing in between the controllers makes the Karma a while worthwhile investment. Cut the cords, not the fun. |

| I wanted a wireless nunchuk so that I could do my EA Sports Active workout for Wii without choking myself on the wire connecting the controller to the nunchuck during some of the exercises. This sounded perfect. However, I was wrong. I hardly works at all. I thought maybe it was just not compatible with the game but after trying it with other games I have found I can't even use it on the easiest of games like Animal crossing. It is delayed or unresponsive or is always unsinking with the remote. I thought about returning it but then I remembers the plastic casing it was sold in was so hard to get into I broke a pair of siccors cutting into it, sliced my finger open on a piece I had manage to get open and then had to pretty much cut the packaging into shreds just to get every part out. So now I have no packaging to return it in and a piece of crap no working nunchuck. So my suggesstion to you is to save your money for a better product. |

"Half a loaf" | 2009-07-18 |

I bought the Kama wireless nunchuck to use with EA Sports Active. The standard nunchuck cord is about 8-12 inches too short for me, and I'm 5'11. I thought the Kama would benefit my workout by addressing this shortcoming.
Is half a loaf better than none? I don't think so, because for my purposes that's what the Kama is. On some Active workouts (like the standing twists and upright rows) your motions are NOT registered by the device. So you do your rep and the program waits and prompts you to continue over and over, even though you're ready to move on. That's frustrating.
On some exercises it DOES work, but only on about half of those that require the resistance band.
I returned my first one and got another thinking that maybe the device I got was defective. The second functions identically to the first. (In case you're curious, I *do* know how to do the exercises, and my reps register when using the wired nunchuck.)
It's too bad, too. The product syncs up fast, feels great in the hand and seems to be well thought out. I see no lag, none of the complaints of other reviewers.
The price is reasonable.
I have NEVER performed better on Wii Sports boxing than when using the Kama, and that's what mystifies me about its failure on Active.
I'm probably going to return the Kama. I'm not that big into the boxing, and unless I buy two, if there's human competition, whoever has the Kama controller will have a distinct advantage.
I see that some people have had luck with it using Active.
I wish I was one of them. |

| I got the Kama Wireless Controller mostly for ea active and for boxing on the wii sports but also use it for Zelda. It works Great I have had it for about a week and so far the batteries have not died. I did have a little trouble gettin it to sync but really didn't take to long to figure it out. I have not noticed any different in response compared to the original one. |

| I actually returned another brand of wireless nunchuck and exchanged it for the Nyko. This is high quality and synced to the remote with ease. No loss of response or signal. Works just as well as the wired nunchuck from Nintendo but without the pesky cord. Especially perfect for EA Sports Active because there is no wire to get in the way of the exercises. |
