Great keybd for the WII. Easy, fast bluetooth connection. You can surf the web on TV easily with this keybd.

Its a good keyboard... It's compatible with all of the Wii's menu's and it is also compatible with various channels, like the internet channel. It is also compatible with all of the Wii's homebrew, eg Guitar's on Fire, Guitar Fun, Debian Etch for Wii, etc. It was only worth buying because it's wireless and matches the Wii, though, any USB keyboard would work... By the way, if you're using a regular keyboard on the internet channel, you can use Alt + Enter to press Okay.
It lacks some keys, if you're using it on a PC. It doesnt have the Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and the pause keys... But, it does have keys exclusive for the internet channel. Also note, the Page/Home scroll keys don't work...
IMHO, the on/off switch should be larger, it's a bit of a hassle to turn it on and off everytime you start your Wii. Oh, and the reconnect button doesnt even do anything, ha. The battery life is decent, it could be longer, but its wireless :\

I just got my Wii keyboard at Gamestop for about $30.00 and I found that its running about the same here (last I looked it was about $50.00 so I had thought I found a steal at the time, oh well)

Anyway, I bought this keyboard becuse I heard it works great with the other gaming councils as well as the Wii and as a Wii owner I figured there was no real risk if it didn't work with my 360.

Well to start off, I am Writting this review with this Keybard so I can say it works with my P.C. flawlessly.

When I tried this keyboard with my xbox 360 I would say I had great results. The reciver will fit easily in all 3 of your 360 usb ports. When I tured it in the back port of the 360, part of me was wondering if it was going to have an issue with the eathernet cord plugged in next to it. However, when I tried it in the back of the 360 I found it fit so well I would have thought it was made specifically for the 360 if the keyboard didn't say Wii right on it. It even works when plugged in threw my xbox 360 hd dvd player ports as well. (I wanted to test everything). And as far as in game play I found that I loved chat with this keaybaord on Phantasy Star Universe as my controller is far to slow. This is a great keyboard for the xbox 360 despite the fact its made for wii and I would recommend it to 360 owners who dont even own or plan on buying a wii.

Now im shore some people are wondering how well this works with the PS3. Personally I don't own a PS3 or I would have tested it but I would imagine this would work. I think that this keybard is desined to fool devices into thinking its an old fashend corded usb keyboard as it doenst require anything to install it, just plug it in and go. My older logitech keyboard requries me to use a disk to install it to every pc I use it on but this requres none of that.

IN summery, I hope that someone will try this with the PS3 and tells us what they think. Also, the pros and cons are listed below.

Pros.
Does not need to be installed and it works well out of the box

Its also compatable with
Wii (duh)
Xobx 360
PC
and it seems veary sturdy and hard to break

Cons.
keybard is not the most comfetable but it is small so I guess your trading some comfert for portablity.

Also, this keybard is not completly necesarry if you own a usb keabard as any standard one will do this jub but I don't know how meany wirless keybards can match its compatability with other gaming concils. (my old wirless keaybard does not work with my councils and that is what got me to buy it)

Well I hope this review is useful to people

First, this keyboard should offer better control of Wii navigation other than just entering text. You will find that you will need to still switch back and forth between the keyboard and the wireless remote frequently. This can be especially annoying when browsing the on the Internet Channel. It has the plus/minus buttons built in and an OK button that will close a text-entering screen. It also has two buttons that let you move backward or forward through web pages when using the Internet Channel, but otherwise, you will still need to extensively use the Wii remote. There still should be shortcut buttons for search, favorites, reload, and web address entry; the Wii remote has shortcuts on its remote for these. It should also have the infrared sensors so that it can be utilized without the Wii remote. I would have paid extra for that.

Second, there is a pseudo-number pad built into this keyboard, along with four other pseudo-keys: PGUP, PGDN, HOME, and END. The number pad and these four other functions can be accessed by holding down the FN key on the keyboard. The problem is that the FN key that needs to be held is right next to the other four keys with the aforementioned labels on the right side of the keyboard. Let me be more detailed. One could possible hold the FN button with his fore finger and with the same hand be able to also push the HOME key with his fore finger, push the PGUP or PGDN buttons with his middle finger, or push the END button with his ring finger. (I still have yet to find uses for these buttons as they don't do anything on the text-entering screens or through navigation on the web pages.) It still would have been better had the FN button been on the left side of the keyboard so that it can be held with a left-hand finger while pushing the other buttons on the right side.

What really makes the placement of the FN button terrible is the number pad. The number pad is on the middle-right half of the keyboard, placed on keys which make it clear that it is to be accessed with a right hand, similar to what you may find on some laptop keyboards. However, the placement of the FN button makes it near impossible to use the number pad. The FN button is down and to the right of these keys. It is not possible to hold this FN button down with your right hand while using the keypad with your right hand nor can you hold it down with your left hand as your right hand is in the way! The only way it can be used is to hold down the button with one finger on your right hand and the use one finger on your left hand to type the numbers. I can type faster using the number keys on top of the regular keyboard, which makes this number pad mute. This is so dissatisfying and it would have been a great feature to use when I have to enter my sixteen digit credit card number every time I purchase more Wii points. In this case, in is not just recommended that the FN key be on the other side of the keyboard; it is essential! My ten-year-old daughter could have made a better design.

For the positive side of this keyboard, I do like that it is white to match the decor of the Wii, and I like its compact size.

If you compose many messages, this keyboard may be a suitable investment. However, I usually find myself using the on-screen keyboard with the Wii remote when I have to type a few words or a sentence. I only reach for my keyboard when I have more than a sentence to type.
