As others have said, this does work with The Beatles Rock Band. I have experience using the stock PS2 and XBox Guitar Hero guitars and I can say that this thing is definitely built better than they are. I can play quite comfortably on expert for hours on end with this thing. No complaints. Excellent product for the money.

Great looking guitar almost identical to the one that came with Guitar Hero 3. Guitar seems well constructed and sturdy. We bought a second guitar for our Wii system. So far we have tested it with Guitar Hero 3, Guitar Hero Smash Hits, Guitar Hero 5, Lego Rock Band, Beatles Rock Band, Band Hero, and Rock Band Country Track Pack and the guitar works perfectly with all. We've had it for a couple of weeks now and are very pleased with it. Great product and great price.

This controller will not work with the original Rock Band game. Rock Band 2, however will work with this controller along with anything that was made after Rock Band 2 as long as you have updated your console. If you have a 360 or ps3, you can buy the extraction pack move the songs from the first rock band to the second, but unfortunately, not an option for the wii.

As for the controller itself, very nice. Light weight, almost exactly like the guitar controller that comes with Guitar Hero. The mahogany color is rich and pretty as well.

I was really eager to buy this new guitar to replace my two previous guitars. once it arrived, i did i trail run and loved it. but after three weeks or so, out of nowhere, my blue button just stopped working. I'm so angry and disappointed that this "awesome" guitar broke within a month I got it and I think there is nothing I can do about it.

I think the best part of this guitar is the price. It works great and best of all I can also confirm that it 100% works with The Beatles Rock Band. Yeah the guitar is a little small, but it does the job. This is a really good value if you are looking for a second or third guitar, or like me you just bought the game and not the game/guitar package.

Be warned that this is a mini-version guitar. Thankfully my wife will use it, but even she prefers the regular size one. Probably good for kids, but skip it if you're an adult....
