"Pleased Keyboard Owner" | 2009-09-14 |

| I bought this for myself, as a guitar player who wants to learn the keyboard. Some other reviewers have rated this product poorly. But, I feel this is a great introductory level instrument. In addition, I don't believe that the speaks are meant to produce production quality sound. Sound via headphones is great and true performance quality sound would very likely be achieved via an output cable to a mixer/amplifier. It has plenty of features go investigate and become familiar with, to gain experience to move on to a full-sized professional keyboard if desired. An added plus to this model is, it does provide a good measure of touch sensitivity, so that it does perform more closely to a piano's sound production. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase! |

| I would love to review this product for you, but as it is wrapped in my closet until December 25th, one might guess it is a Christmas Present for a 7 year old young lady, I will be happy to relate how she and we feel when the time arrives, but for now it is covered with black trash bags, and on one side of my walk in closet. To date she never goes in my closet says it is too messy!!!!!!! From what I have been told by her piano teacher this should be quite enjoyable for her and that is reason we purchased it. No we did not even plug it in, did buy the cord setup as your postings said it ate batteries. |

"Excellent instrument for the money." | 2009-08-22 |

| I've been playing piano for over 40 years and greatly prefer a traditional piano over an electronic one. However, this keyboard is so outstanding in every way that I forget I'm playing a keyboard and find myself simply enjoying the music that comes out of it. The sound quality is excellent, the voices are fun to play with, and the touch is quite satisfactory. On top of that, it will record and play back and has midi capability. I'm extremely pleased with this keyboard. |

"Nice keyboard for the price" | 2009-08-07 |

I freelance as an accompanist and help people out with studio recordings for demo CD's. This keyboard is what I use to practice at home, and it's definitely fine for that. The price and free shipping were great. Definitely the touch sensitive keys and natural piano sound is my favorite thing about this keyboard. I rarely change the default piano sound when I play. Some of the instrument sounds, like synth string and some of the bell sounds are nice. Most of it is just okay, but for this price, I'm happy with it.
Like most keyboards, the drum beats need work. The accompaniment with drums and bass line vary from okay to really hokey. IMO if you sing with it as a one man band, it won't sound good. You'd be better off with a good drum machine and this keyboard...or no percussion at all. A few of the drum beats are okay like the Ibiza, EuTrance, and Club Dance. Actually my favorite drum beat is the first (8BtModern) pop style. Maybe someday they'll re-create/sample some usable pop drum beats from today's songs and do away with the samba, tango, mambo beats, etc.
As with any e-keyboard, the action of the keys is easier than a real piano. Also, with only 61 keys, forget doing long arpeggio's. But the space, weight and cost savings make this a good option for many. For an inexpensive keyboard, I'd definltey recommend this Yamaha. |

| This might be 5-star review or a 0-star review. Hard to determine that yet, since this keyboard HAS NO POWER ADAPTER! Very hard to believe this device lacks a power supply, and harder yet to know that based upon the information provided. |

| Before buying this keyboard, you should know that this cannot and is not meant to replace a piano. However, if you're looking for a low-budget, space efficient option to soothe your craving for a keyboard/piano, then I recommend this product. Whether or not you have any experinece in playing the piano/keyboard, a few extra dollars for the touch sensitive option is a must. If you're a beginner starting your music career, this is definitely a good place to start. |
