I purchase this Hori Stick, I have read the reviews people have leave about the stick not being so good. I decided to give it a try for myself. I got mine 2 days ago it feels smooth and the buttons are soft and u don't have to press hard for them to respond. It responds very fast and it gets the job done. I play every day for 4 hours straight street fighter 4 and it's perfect I love it. I know that after a month or two my buttons will start to go out but it does not bother me I will upgrade it with new sanwa buttons and modded my way, but until then I will keep playing everyday..
The goods, it has a very decent weight, the joystick is not that big, it responds good and the quality it's ok not the best but for someone normal like me it is fine..
The Bads. The buttons are too noisy. The cord it's not long enough. Other then that the Hori Joystick is a good brand and good quality and its worth the money. I will purchase another one soon....... |

I've been using this stick since the day I bought it. There are a lot of pluses to the stick over the controller that I was using before, unfortunately there are just as many headaches. I use this mainly for SF4, and I use mainly charge characters (Honda, just so some of you know where I'm coming from).
The transition from controller to stick has been difficult, and on more than one occasion, I've thought of going back. The stick feels kinda loosey-goosey to me. Sometimes when I try to do a charge back/ forward move, it comes out as charge back/ down forward and totally kills the move. Or during his command sometimes I roll back a little too high and he ends up jumping backwards.
But I think these are just normal growing pains that comes with using a stick. I've even had one of those zen moments where I've felt one-with-the-stick. It's just taken a while to get there. And for the price, you really can't beat it. |

| I've never been much of a fighting stick guy but I gave this one a shot because I got street fighter IV and I'm glad I got this stick. The buttons are large and responsive, the stick seems to pick up my movements well, and the whole thing has a good weight to it. Again I"m just a beginner but as far as I can tell it works great, the only drawback I can find is that it's chorded. it'd be nice is it was wireless. |

I bought this for $50 with shipping. It arrived in a good package and the construction is fine and it feels good. I tried my friend's original street fighter joystick, which is worth $150 (the white one with street fighter logo and picture background). I don't see the huge different, of course, the one from Japan is better in terms of the build and feel and the size is bigger, but to me, as a normal player, I believe this one does the job well with this price tag.
