If you have the experience with the dancing mat from Play Station and such, you'll find this one is very difficult to follow. The reason for this is that while you don't need to step on the position where a mat confines you, you are now more confined where you move your feet which gets projected to precise positions onto the screen, and to line up with the foot steps which are much lesser room than the square from the dancing mat is 10 times harder if you know what I mean. Imagine you have to step into a foot mark within the square from the mat but still much harder because there's no square. Not only you need to learn how much your feet can move for each step to get right on the spot from the screen, there are no dummy person on the dance floor but just foot steps liting up in different timing, so if you don't have that music touch in you, there won't be any body motion guidance. It'll take a lot of practices and the scoring isn't just stepping into the right spot in the right time, it also detects the length of time and when you step on it so even the step is lite, you need to follow the music and step in and out of it in the right time, this is actually good because if you're scored just by stepping into the right spots when they lite up, you may not be dancing in rhythm.

My kids love this toy. It keeps them active and it has great music. It is a challenge for the entire family and I'm glad we bought it.

My daughter played with this only for a couple of hours and was done with it. In this day and age of cool graphics and digital imaging of Wii and PS this is a very basic, low grade product.

It was fun however you have to take the foot sensors off in order for another person to play with you. FYI don't let the dog in the room b/c he will want to play and mess you up. It happens every time we play, the dog walk right in front of the TV so the game cant read you movements.

I bought this toy for my 10 year old son. Suprisingly, my son likes it, but I do not. As always, the commercials make the toy look better than it actually is. The graphics are lame. The music is horrible and reminds me of listening to a midi. I thought it would compare to Dance Dance Revolution, but it is not even close. The concept of the game is good, but it is not worth paying full price. I am glad that I found it for 1/2 price.
