This Yamaha keyboard plays faultlessly, it came complete with a stand, software and a head-phones to play without annoying the neighbours. The only way I believe the kit could be improved is to include a midi to USB adapter cable, then you can store and record to your computer. This is a really great product with a rich sound.
Always wanted to play the keyboard/panio... now as a young adult i finally can. Wasn't sure what to buy or what features to look for as a beginner but all the reviews on this product was great so i gave it a try. Trust me it sounds great, all most like the 88key panio at my music school although the keys are some what light.
As stated in other reviews the stand does not fit in the slut but you can improvise and have abosutely no problem. Stand, Headphone, Adapter included as stated. OH and the keyboard was shipped in amazingly quick time.
"Wonderful Introductory keyboard"

I bought this for my 4 year old when she started taking lessons with Yamaha Music Schools. The sound is wonderful and the 61 keys will be more than enough for the first few years of lessons. This is definitely a good intro instrument for an adult or child starting lessons.
The keyboard does sit loosely on the stand. Apparently, Yamaha doesn't make stands that actually lock into the keyboard. I looked at their website and I didn't see anything like that. I also asked at a music store and they said that the stand isn't supposed to attach to the keyboard. I'm not sure if this is unique to Yamaha or if all keyboard manufacturers do this.
My 4 and 1 year olds have been playing this keyboard practically everyday for four months and they haven't knocked it off yet. Someone told me recently to buy velcro strips to attach the keyboard to the stand. I plan to try that.

"The keyboard itself is excellent! i am not happy about the missing items..."

I Didn't notice this until it was too late...That there was no headphone AC power adapter or stand...It was a post Christmas gift,so there were no complaints by the receiver...The main problem isn't having the stand(no one seems happy with their stand). It is the cost of batteries, and not being able to play after certain hours, because there were no headphones!I really would like to know what happened to these missing items... Whether they were lost in shipping or were never shipped.I guess i will never know...I sure would like to have them sent to me,especially the AC power adapter.Yamaha YPT210 61 Full-Size Key Keyboard Bundle - Professional Headphones, Keyboard Stand, and Power Supply
