| Very easy to assemble and use! Glides over hard wood and other hard floor surfaces! Nice array of attachments. Great steam - I love cleaning without harsh chemicals! Just wish that it had come with more towel/pad attachments for floors. It comes with just one that gets dirty quickly if you are doing a number of rooms with hard flooring. Otherwise - I think it is great! |

What good is a home steam cleaner? What would I do with it? Is it worth the money?
Yes, yes, and yes.
One of the best gadgets I've ever bought for the home. I've steam cleaned our carpets, our furniture upholstery, EVERYTHING in the bathroom and kitchen, and I'm still finding new, innovative things to clean and ways to use it.
It takes the wrinkles out of clothes faster and better than an iron. It gets into those hard to reach areas around faucet handles and just blows the gunk out, leaving them clean as a whistle. I used to have to take off the handles and use a brush and solvent to get this stuff. Now the steam does the work and does it better.
Maybe best of all, it sanitizes everything with hot, hot, steam. The house smells and feels fresher and cleaner. A nice side benefit is it also adds humidity to otherwise dry air now that the furnace is on.
Well worth the money. |

"this product will NOT hold up to frequent use" | 2009-11-14 |

I bought this steamer from Amazon 6 months ago, and have been using it on a regular basis. Mostly for the mop function.
Within 1 month of owning it the mop handle snapped in half. I figured maybe I was using too much pressure. I paid for a replacement handle, and began using it again...GENTLY. Three months later the mop handle again snapped in the exact same place. It is made of plastic, and narrow right at the center where pieces join. This is a very weak spot, and a major design flaw. The handle is also extremely difficult to fit together. The pieces do not snap together or come apart easily.
Now this week the cord covering has split and is coming off. This is the plastic that covers the tube that carries steam from the tank to the nozzle. So now the tube that carries steam is uncoiling and is exposed.
I have tried using this steamer to clean greasy ovens, and barbeques. It will soften the grease a little, but will not make it melt off like on commercials.
It is only marginally effective at cleaning grout. Honestly - some Ajax and a toothbrush work WAY better.
I have used a paper towel on floors that I have just steamed.....the towel comes up dirty. How can this steamer possibly be sanitizing anything if there is still dirt on the floor after using it??
This steamer is NOT a magic bullet, and is not worth close to $100. Save yourself the hassle. |

Used Mom's smaller steamer and was o.k. with results... so.. had to have one.. When I finally got to it, it was Swine Flu season in my house... cleaned the bathroom, kitchen, steamed the hardwood floors, and steamed the rug. All the areas that the kids live in!
I have to say that it worked great, had pretty good steam time to get a good amount of the job done in each room.(mom's ran out after 3 min.). It has all the needed attachments. It's small and lightweight. |

"Awesome machine" | 2009-11-11 |

| The tile floor in my bathroom was terribly discolored. The cleaning service I had didn't actually clean it, they just swished water over it. I ordered this machine and when I received it I immediately went to work on the tiles. I am AMAZED at how clean I got them! The grout is now white, and the tiles themselves are a much lighter color after getting years of dirt and grime cleaned off them. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone with stubborn stains. |

| I wanted to buy a steam cleaner for my tile floors, when I saw this product, priced similarly to just a floor steam cleaner, I went ahead and bought it. I appreciate that it has attachments for the rug, windows (which I use on marble tile in my bathroom) and floor. The other attachments (nozzle like) work well, but are very loud! I have used the steamer on sections of carpet that are "high traffic" and have been please with the results. I also have been pleased with how the attachments seem to melt away calcium build-up in the bathroom! |
