Works like a charm. No problems at all and is the perfect managable size and weight. And to those that question its compatiblty with the SP01 scockmount. Out the box, no it doesn't quite fit, but if you examine the shockmount, you will see that you can remove the "screw-on" insert with a coin and then the two will work with no problem

I use this as a low to the ground mic stand to pick up acoustic guitars. It telescopes to about 2 feet, and it does what it's supposed to do. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because there isn't an immediately obvious way to keep the pole from rotating, so you can't have any tension on the mic cable or it will spin the mic. Minor Issue.

Unfortunately, after reading A. Larson's review that he/she used it with the SP01 scockmount and AT2020 USB mic I bought this stand to use with those very same specs. Unfortunately, the screw top on this stand is too large to fit in the shockmount's screw space so it doesn't work at all.

Not sure if I'll buy an adapter or return it yet but thought everyone should know.

On-Stage DS7200B = 5 Stars

I also use this stand with my Audio Technica AT2020 USB microphone and Samson SP01 shock mount. I've read other reviews stating this stand was wobbly. It is not! For the price, if you need a nice "Desk" stand, buy it. Very functional, stable and attractive.

I use this stand with my Audio Technica AT2020 USB microphone and Samson SP01 shock mount. The height adjustment feature puts the microphone at the perfect height for desktop recording--whatever that height may be. The stand is plenty sturdy and stable.
