I asked my dentist's assistant what her wonderful perfume was. I ordered L'eau d'Issy the next day. I love it; fresh light & clear scent. Not over powering. Just had a manicure the other day. Receptionist noticed my perfume & asked about it, as did others in the salon. We all feel it has a familiar smell but cannot identify just what it reminds one of. Allusive!

Miyake's Body Lotion has the same intriguing scent as his perfume, and serves as a nice prelude to wearing the fragrance.

Imagination and innovation are hallmarks of designer Issye Miyake. Born in Hiroshima where he was a student of graphic design (think his "Pleats Please" line), he later moved to Paris where he worked for Guy Laroche and Hubert de Givenchy.

In the late 1960s he moved to New York and the salon of Geoffrey Beene. Just a short jump from there to opening his own studio two years later. The rest is couture history and today his clothing is worn by the very fashionable.

Miyake brought the same exuberance to the creation of his fragrance that he brought to his designs. While it is a floral essence, it is enhanced with a variety of flower scents: lotus, cyclamen, freesia, carnations, white lilies. Base notes are sandalwood, moss and cedar.
It's a delightful fragrance for women of all ages.

I love this perfume. In stores I saw prices up to $90 for this same bottle. Found it on Amazon for much cheaper and free shipping! I wasn't in a hurry to get it, so the free shipping with a longer ship date was fine with me. I got it in about a week. I plan on buying this from here again.

I am extremely picky about perfumes & I absolutely love this perfume! When I was younger in high school I wore Sunflowers. Now at age 30, all I wear is Issey Miyake. I have really bad allergies, so most perfumes mess w/my allergies. Not Issey Miyake...it is my one and only choice for perfume.
