Pros:
specifically for bare floors
is supposed to vacuum and heat mop


Cons:

Very small capacity (I have a 1400 sq ft home that is tile with area rugs and I empty this vacuum an average of three times if I do the entire home).

The Liquid spray option never has worked, so I cannot use the wet option at all.

Filter gets filthy very often (mind you I have two preschool children and an enormous golden retriever).

Faulty design (my machine sends all the debris up into the filter and not into the canister- this is why the filter is always needing washing and I must empty multiple times to maintain suction).

This machine may still work well for some people out there, and I do use it from time to time just as a bare floor vacuum. I may get it repaired so the mop function will work but for the cost I am thinking of just getting a more heavy duty bare floors vacuum and a swiffer wet jet- I know that that will work. I was really looking forward to a vacuum and mop combo, but this model is not a good match for my household. Maybe we just supply too much mess for this little machine.

Loved the mop, the results were great (no streaks). It is tough to push but its really drying the floor. However, it only worked 2x - won't dispense the fluid. Past 30 days so can't return or exchange and repair shop is 90 min away. I now use it to dry the floors, no bang for the buck here. There are better steam mops, skip this one.

This is the second Bissel Flip It that I have owned. They work great. I use it on a floating Bamboo Floor so I don't want water left on the floor whcih happens with tradiitional mops.
The cleaning solutions for the wood floor and the tile or stone floors are terrific.

This was the second time I was purchasing a vacuum as the wrong one was sent to me in my first purchase. When I finally received the second vacuum, it arrived outside of the original packaging. The item was thrown in the box, the styrofoam packaging was broken and pieces of the vacuum were missing. I think amazon sent me a vacuum that someone else may have previously returned. Very disappointed.

Recently purchased to replace the one I had for many years. It's great for all the floors in my home, mostly oak wood, shiny tile and matte tile. I remember the first time I used it when it first came out and although I thought my floors were clean, the squeegee and the suction pulled up all the hidden gunk in between the floor boards, and I was emptying mud from the collection tank. It also left no streaks or spots. Yes, there are some drips and drops when finishing, but it's worth the wipe up for the clean it achieves.

My husband and I shared doing the floors initially to see what we both thought. We thought the floors looked better, but after drying completely, we were surprised how much cleaner they were. Then........ we emptied the cup and could not believe how dirty the water was. Our ceramic tile has small crevices that as the dirt accumulated, I went around with a Q-Tip and ammonia to remove. Now that I am 70 years old, the knees aren't up to doing this anymore and I was looking for something that would do the job and I sure found it! A little heavy, but not too bad.
