I will never again travel without my Tom Tom GPS Navigator. I am amazed at the amount of information this unit presents. The only fault I find is that it does not always give the most direct route to my local destination. I purchased a very basic, but adequate model and am so impressed I am going to upgrade it very soon.

The GPS is great for the price. It's refurbished but one could barely notice. The Free Map Update is really a luck thing, if you get a code in your box you get it, if you don't...you don't. I didn't get a code in my box, only a note from TomTom telling me it was a refurbished unit and a phone number to call support if I needed. I called just to ask for the free map update and was told that refurbished units didn't apply for it since they are already sold at discount prices. All in all the system works great, it's easy to use and it's good for the price. The rebate is a nice touch,but I'm waiting to see how long it takes to go through.

A very reasonable price for this unit and I was pleasantly surprised when I finally worked my way through understanding how to program a travel destination.

This was an excellent product at a great price. The shipping was very timely. Unfortunately I returned the item because we realized it wasn't exactly what we needed. Amazon is the most professional vendor to work with for returns. They are courteous and prompt with their refunds. I would recommend this product and give big kudos to Amazon for their professionalism. I will always be an Amazon girl because I trust them... implicitly.

having some problems with turning it on. if it dies all the way then you have to charge it all the way back up to even turn it on. kind of a pain. works perfect other than that.

I have several TomToms and they are excellent. I have a better time connecting and it updates faster than other models I have seen. They are very easy to use.
