"Great bundle"

Yes, there are too many games already...but rather than focusing in the game itself, think about the idea of the instruments, they are simply cool... quite different from that of rock band, if you ask me... the guitar hero drums are more easy to play and they remind more for a real one. The guitar is bigger, it looks very cool and i feel it more comfortably than the predecessors, that thing in the neck intented to be a "touch-sensitive slide" really sucks i think they tried to copy the idea from the rock band guitar(yeah they did it introducing the micro and the drums to the franchise in the very first place, i know it) but i dont like it. Obviosly playing the game (and all of the genre) is extremely fun, even if you do it alone, but try it at a familiar party...is incredible...This bundle is very good (and a cheaper) option for getting instruments for your xbox 360, i think that they are even better TO PLAY than that from the beatles rock band (not to mention the [...] bucks) and from the "special edition" of the same game (with wired controllers from rock band 1) so just consider it....

This game kit works well with my friends & I. Right out of the box, played hours on it. I've had it for a month now, and besides myself...most of my friends have played the instruments - guitar, drums, & mic all responded well like they should. I was hesitant at first to buy the band kit because of the past reviews regarding bad/broken drums. So far mine have held up to countless guitar hero & rockband jamming! I guess its either a 50/50 or other users beating up heavily on their drums. I even have a 2-yrold son who sneaks up on the drums (don't recommend toddlers to be around instruments) and was jamming with the drumsticks...but no damage :).

The game itself is a wonderful step forward for the franchise, however, there have been technical problems with the hardware. After doing some research, it turns out that some of the drum sets manufactured were slightly faulty. For me, I have to hit the cymbals a little hard and dead-center. It seems that this problem is a little hit-or-miss and not a universal problem. Doesn't take too much away from game play, so not a huge problem.
"Rock Band is better, but the drums are more realistic."

I enjoy the overall interface and song selection better in Rock Band. This is completely subjective so each user should consider their tastes from the playlist. I do like the drumset with the "cymbals" for a slightly more realistic playing experience. Now the games need to have the sudden realization that the snare should be lower and more centered on the set. As for the guitar, I still like the original GH wireless guitar. The new one and the fret touch area is barely worth it. Also the guitar frequently plays notes on its own thus killing streaks and multipliers. This is happening after less than 50 hours of gameplay. Overall the game is quite entertaining but tweaks are needed for a better overall experience.

The game is fun to play with friends though after the first three days my mic broke then less than a month later the drum pads broke.
"Come for the gameplay and stay for the music"

GH World Tour at it's core does what all the other Guitar Hero games have done and that's bring you great music to play on your plastic instruments. The gameplay is the same with the exception of the drums. The drums for the most part make you feel like you are playing the real thing but that reality hits you when you hit the snare or any part of the drums and then you hear that wood on plastic sound. The setup is cool as it has the crash and one hit hat positioned exactly as a real drummer would have them set up. The music is awesome for the most part. I felt some tracks didn't need to be there but then again I feel like that whenever I play the past Guitar Hero games as well. All in all if you like Guitar Hero you'll feel right at home with this. The drums are a nice addition and certainly a welcome peripheral to add into your plastic arsenal.
