Can surf the internet using web browser, download games, great video quality.

Personally I bought it for the convenience of being able to view blu ray movies and play video games now and again

The wireless control comes in handy andhas a great range.

Gets very hot while in use...
I dont think it can play PS2 games... Ill have to try ito out...

Yah Ive had no problim with my 120 gb,slim.I Love the Graphics.Blueray plays great,It took me a while to get it going.

As soon as this got to my house my boyfriend decided to rip it open and play with it. So far it's very fun and the layout is similar to the PSP which is fine with me. I like that layout.

I haven't had any disc read errors or freezing like I've read in forums here and there. Overall this is a fantastic console and with the built in Blu-ray player I use it twice as much as my 360. I can't wait until Netflix in available on the XMB at the end of the year.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing a game system on line, however because I purchase other Items from Amazon and have always been pleased, I decided to take a chance and the PS3 is greeeat we play it every day, Since purchasing it we don't even turn on the Xbox 360 anymore. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I would have thought that the new playstation 3 would be able to accomodate the playstation 2 games. We purchased this for our son and he loves it: but we also have to keep the ps2 game so he can play his ps2 games.
Is this marketing? Kind of crummy for the consumer.
