I thought that this item would be a whole lot easier to use. I have used this a few times on vacation and traveling to other peoples house, like grandmas and aunties. Overal I did not think its worth the effort and time. I rather either microwave or an old fashion bottle sterilizer

this beats having to boil or nuke bottles to sterilize them hands down. pour in water, add rack of bottles, put on lid, press button. that simple. only thing i don't like is on the 24hr setting it beeps every 6hrs when it runs again.

As a breastfeeding Mom who is fanatical about keeping all things for baby sterile, I was so glad when this sterilizer came out! I used to boil everything on the stove and then would sit it out to dry on the countertop. Now I can just put everything in the sterilizer, start it and forget about it.

We got the Avent bottle system and ended up getting this as well. We shouldn't have. While it worked well, it didn't last long at all, although we followed the instructions to the letter. We ended up with a really weird brown residue in the water and then the whole thing went kaput.

We ended up buying the microwave Avent steamer. Half the price, and although it doesn't hold quite as much and you can't use it with the 11 oz bottles, it works like a charm on the 9 and 4 oz bottles (which is all we're using, anyway.)

pro: works great, lots of room, pretty fast..more room then munchkins brand
cons: price and although roomy i would have loved more space...have lots of bottles
got it for 66 dlls
ps use distilled water in all sterilizers/bottle warmers to avoid browning on bottom
