For those like me who were looking into using this as an internal drive on your PS3, the larger form factor will NOT fit in the drive slot.

If you are planning to get this internal HDD for your laptop, Make sure you check one important specification. Though the Details suggest 2.5-inch NOTEBOOK hard drive, the Scorpio Blue hard drives have a thickness of 12.5 millimeters, as opposed to 9.5 millimeters in other 2.5-inch drives. This means the new drives will not fit in all 2.5-inch slots in laptops. Luckily it did fit mine. Before ordering it make sure the Hard Drive enclosure of your laptop can accomodate the EXTRA 3mm thickness. If it does, then this is definitely the one to go for.
