This is an excellent resource for anyone following the blood-type diet. If you're deciding between purchasing this or the Eat right 4 your type, I would recommend getting this one. It contains most of the information from the first book but also has some more current info and gets into other aspects that I found very helpful.

I just finished reading LRFYBT and my husband and I have started eating according to Dr. D'Adamo's suggestions. My husband has been on many diets over the years and decided they do not work and he is right. Now we know why. You need to eat the food that is right for YOU. He is a type 0 and I am an A. I need to get my protein mainly from plant sources and my husband needs to eat small high animal protein meals and we both need to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and no wheat for him other than sprouted. This works for him. Seems crazy but we both are losing weight this way. I only needed to lose 5 pounds and I did in only a few days without any effort at all. He has a lot to lose but is well on his way, also effortlessly. This is really NOT a diet book but a way to eat that is right for your health which includes being the right weight.
This book is very comprehensive and easy to read and understand. The difference between this one and his previous Eat Right For Your Blood Type is that it includes exercise and emotional help and herbs and supplements to take for various problems. I am so grateful that I was told about the book. I also ordered the Cook Right For Your Blood Type and that further helps with meal planning especially since my husband and I are opposites, not really all that hard but takes some planning. It is empowering now to know that I am eating properly. Before it was all guess work.

Another good informational book to go with the others in the series. A must have.
This book changed my life no doubt in less than a week, before I got the book I didn't even know my blood-type but when I compared the different blood-types I had almost all of the negative symptoms associated with one type. So I went to the Dr and had blood drawn, and no surprise I was correct in my assumption and Dr. D' Adamo is a genius. I feel like I haven't been truly living until I changed my diet last week, there is so much information in here that I can't begin to sing it's praise.
I'll leave the more detailed reviews for people who have a lot to say, I myself am speechless as of last week. My family can't believe the change that I underwent without spending any money except for the $16.00 for this book. Had I known that my life was waiting for me in the pages of this book then I would've known that it isn't about the money- the book is priceless.

It is a great book for blood group A people. I am blood group A and read only the specific part. I am sure it would be equally good for other blood groups also.. It opened my eyes to a whole new problem blood group A people suffer from. that is adrenal fatigue.. We have been damaging our critical glands with poor living habits all the time. Time to take the control and heal our glands.. It is worth a read. If you are blood group A, DO NOT MISS IT.. IT IS MUST FOR YOU.. you will realise why I said it in capital once you read it.. enjoy and happy healing adrenal glands..

This book has completely enlightened me in respect of the way I should live,not only eat,according to my blood type.As a sportswoman,always conscious of what I 'PUT IN MY MOUTH',along with the physical and mental training on one side and spiritual one on the other side I've tried many so-called diets,more or less adapted to my special needs,but none of my chosen 'ways of life'was so complete and definitory as dr.D'adamo's research over the connection between your blood type and your choices in life(dietary one included,of course).I've bought most of his books and I'm determined to read and apply them totally,because this is the answer to all my questions along time.
