Very eye-opening in many ways. Cutting-edge medicine of the future. Also exposes the politics of the current medical profession. Other insightful info on holistic medicine are Quantum Healing and Kachina Revelation.

I give it a 5 star for content. 3 star for organization.

I read this book as a part of my psychology degree coursework.

If you are looking for a technical analysis of checmicals reactions about the body you really won't get alot of it here. It is not meant to study from.

Rather I would say what the book is about is a person who relayed her experiences as a researcher in the medical industry.

After I read this book I quite donating to ALL medical charities.

Instead of medical research working as an ochestra putting things together. What you find in this books is alot of political ambitions, egomaniacs and greedy son of a guns who by what I see have delayed the cure for aids (which pert started on and was becoming successful at) because she upset them by going out of her area of expertise.

To me the people who rated it a one star, people missed the point of the book. If they bought the book from amazon. Then reading the editorial reviews would have been enough to know it was not a technical book.

If you read this it will change your mind forever about medicines, drug companies, government and medical research doctors.

The old thought that they are there to help has been banished from my mind. they are solely there for their own selfish purposes and if we the public are graced enough we might get trickles of new medicine to help us with our conditions.

I now look at these telethons and I have such a heavy heart, seeing all these stars and general people put such effort into raising money thinking that will help find it cure.

It won't especially if the cure means the drug companies loose money or a medical research doctor won't have a job anymore or someone's glory is taken.

Another interesting read is Reinventing Medicine by larry dossey.

Again don't expect it to be technically jargoned. rather an experience of an MD.

One last interesting book is Road to Immunity alittle more general understanding on the immune system. But Bach is a MD that combines both holistic and traditional medicine.

All books I had to read for my psychology degree.

only just started reading this book.
I feared it may be over my head so I put off starting it, but boy, was I wrong! Dr Pert really spells everything out for you. A real page turner!

This is cutting edge science, explained by a very creative researcher.
It reads like a suspense novel. It is proof of the mind-body connection.
