The clinical or psychiatric interview can be challenging even for those with years of experince. This book provides a straigtforward and easy to understand process for complete, meaningful, valid and reliable interviews. Shea offers a variety of hands on tips and tools to guide the interview process while offering clear examples of dialog and case studies. For the first time I feel that I have read a book which left me with new ways to approach certain situiations (suicide and violence assessments for example). I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy to read, resource rich, interview guide.
