Since Christmas is right around the corner, I thought reading The Polar Express would be a fun get in the Christmas spirit type of read and I was not disappointed. This book holds all the magic of Christmas within it's covers. It is a true Christmas Classic. The illustrations were a sight to behold as well. I also saw the movie and although it is a bit different from the book I enjoyed it immensely - so did my little ones.

This is a beautiful book. Both the story and the beautiful illistrated pictures.
My husband and I gave this book to our boys when they were 7 and 4 years old.
He would read it to them every Christmas Eve.
Now I am passing this on to my Grandson.
So my Son can continue the tradition.

This is such a wonderful book. We have watched the movie probably 20 times, but just recently thought about getting the book. We are still reading the book each night, even though it is February! Was a little disappointed in the package, as I thought the CD and tape were of the songs, not a narration of the book

After the birth of our first grandchild I decided to give this as the first Christmas book for each new grandchild. Everyone seems very pleased. A wonderful story for the whole family.

My almost 4 yr old son has been a fan of the movie for the past year, I can't believe it's taken us this long to purchase the book. It is as special and engrossing as we hoped it would be. Simply wonderful.
