I've been playing Diablo since the Expansion release. I've baught three copies of it, cause I wear em out. Cant wait for new release in Feb. 2010 muahahahahaha!!!!

Seriously...addictive. I'm 31 and have been playing since xpac came out ( 2001 ). I've refered DiabloII to heroin. I've been turned onto this drug, and have selfishly addicted others to feel better about my own addiction. I AM NOT A RPG MMORPG GUY !!!! I was an old-school Commodore64/Atari/Nintendo kid growing up. I'm x-military, love the out doors and being physical, and hae/love people in general :P... not that i'm scared of being labeled a nerd.

This game is totally and ultmately addicting. I HAVE trashed the disks, given them away.. never made a difference ! I started with just keeping my accounts alive when I stopped playing for the fact that I had items worth selling....legit items on Est and West dating back to .07-.08 . I got borred at work one night and signed on...needless to say I got NO work done that night and was struggeling to form some sence of rasionality in the last hour and a half of my shift. I knew from then on , that I was screwed. I've given up drugs ( Pot, alcohol, and cigarrettes ) , and yet I can't stop thinkng about / going back to Diablo II.
Seriously can't wait till Diablo III comes out, I have UBER plans of selling all of my East/West gear on JSP for FG !!!!!
GL/HF AND BUY THIS DAMN GAME IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT ALREADY ! ! ! !

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Diablo. I've played this game a lot. BUT, I just bought D2, and it isn't supported on the new (08+) Macs. Blizzard has a patch, free to download. Does nothing. Zero. Zip. They also have a Native installer, which is also free, and also will not run the program. I've tried pretty much everything, to no avail. My recommendation is this: If you need some Diablo in your life, wait till September of '09, which is the rumored release date of Diablo 3, which will certainly be supported by newer Mac OS's. Dont waste your time or money trying to install this on a newer Mac system.

Probably should have spent my money on more important stuff but this did add some really cool features to Diablo. Made a complicated game even more complicated but thats OK.
