I bought this vacuum cleaner after I read other customers reviews and they were very helpful. The vacuum is easy to use, it is powerful and I can use it to clean the carpet under my bed where other cleaners didn't reach. It is also very easy to empty and you don't have to bother about buying bags. However, I have only used this product for two weeks.

I've never written a review before but I spent so much time researching vacuums that I wanted to let others know how much I love my new Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuum. I needed something that would work on both hard wood floors and carpeting. I have a Golden Retriever so I vacuum every day to get rid of the dog hair. I don't like using a regular upright vacuum on the hardwood floors because it is slower to maneuver and the uprights don't seem to pick up the dirt as well. On this vacuum, you take the powerhead off and put on the hardwood floor attachment. The suction works great and you can vacuum a large floor quickly. I also like that it has variable speeds. When I'm ready to vacuum the carpets, I just plug the power head back onto the end of the wand and it's ready to go. The vacuum picks up an amazing amount of dirt, it's light weight and it is easy to carry up the stairs. I also like thebagless feature. The last bagless vacuum I had was time consuming and difficult to empty. This one is quite easy. Just take the top off of the dirt container, turn it upside down over the trash, empty it and you're done.

I used this vacuum for the first time today and I am very happy with my choice. The canister filled up sort of fast but we have a cat and a dog with a mix of hardwood floors and carpeting. The extra attachments are nice and they worked really well.

It has been years since I used a canister vacumm. I remember them being so heavy and bulky. This vacuum has been a nice surprise. The suction is amazing, we have dogs and cats in our house so the hair is an issue. I thought my upright vacuum was doing a fair job of picking up the hair, was I wrong. When I empty the canister in this vacuum you can see the individual hair strands. The canister is small, I wish it was a little bit bigger. You have to empty it more often. The vacumm is light weight which is a plus as I have a tri-level house. The long wand that is attached to the carpet cleaner does seem to be cheaply made. A nice surprise was the attachment for vacuuming stairs. I almost bought the less expensivie model without the stair attachment, I am so glad I went with this one. It has its own belt so it continues to rotate and suck up the dirt. The canister and the filter is washable so you do not have to keep buying filters. If you keep the canister and the filter clean you will have no smell of old dirt and it will work like new. I would recommend this vacuum, I wish I had bought one sooner.

Have had numerous vacs over the years. This is the absolute best by far. Other than being a bit bulky to move around,
this (have dogs) vacuum does the best job I have ever seen. It's odor free and very powerful, I would highly reccomend
the Hoover Wind Tunnel, and the price to value is just exceptional.
This is my second hoover windtunnel, first one was with bags it lasted around 10 years.

excellant suction (as long as you emply canaster often)
nice to get it around furniture and under beds.
basic attachements
carpet atteachment workds nice
wide hard floor attachment nice.
Wish it had a better dusting attachment, my old hoover had a real nice one, but the attachments don't fit on the new one.
The problem with this bagles and this is my first bagless is that it is very messy to empty. the filter needs to be pounded on to something to get the dirt out of the creases or the suntion is lower. I have average 12 by 12 rooms with carpeting the canaster needs to be emptied every room, but this does an excellant job pulling out the dust deep down into the carpeting.
I have had it for a year now. stilll pretty happy, but you wouldn't want to empty this in your trash can in your house all the time. Very dusty work.
not sure if all bagless are like this.
The amount of money I have saved on bags over the past year will probably pay for the system in 5 to 6 years. when I purchased this from amazon it was on sale for 180 with free shipping. but I do need to get as extra filter, which I haven't done yet.
