Last longer than the compatible cartridges with truer colors. Very expensive so hope the price of these can be lowered soon.

It's good ink. If you have an HP inkjet printer and don't use it frequently, as I don't, I can say I've never had one cartridge go dry on me or become clogged from disuse. Off-brand ink, at least what I've bought before, also work well, but I'm not sure about their fade resistance.
From experience, there's no substitute for the real cartridge. I've had multiple disappointments with refilled cartridges, so I only buy new. That way, the quality is a known factor. In my 3620 HP printer, this cartridge lasts a good long time, and I print documents and photos! The HP28 cartridge is one of the best. It has plenty of ink.
