Product has been up and running for several weeks. Works as advertised. I was concerned about the range from the previous reviews, however, this does not seem to be an issue. The base station is located in the house behind several walls (no direct line of sight) and works just fine, and the sensor is 150' down the drive.

It works very well. It gives a real sense of security and was easy to
set up. Does not pick up deer or turkey so it is not annoying! We
are very happy with this roadway protection. Would recommend to anyone
in an isolated area.

We have purchased these in the past and they have worked very well. The new ones do not have the range of the old model. They used to be one of the best and now I will not purchase this item again. Return to Amazon. Made in China now????

I have my business in front of our home. About a month ago someone pulled into my shop's parking lot (while we were at our home) and stole our dog, (who is our life). Thanks to many prayers, we found her the next day. When I am in my shop, I can hear when someone pulls up. But in my home, I can't. One of my customers told me about this driveway alarm. Now anytime someone pulls in our driveway, the alarm buzzes in our home. This is wonderful for security!! And also for those customers that come after hours or on weekends!! The Chamberlain alert system gives us peace of mind knowing that no one can sneak up to our property again!!!

Reviews indicate folks' experience with erratic behavior in alarm transmission need to check for insects and spiders inside mouth of transmitters. Small spiders building nests in there can drive you nuts. I've found good range, but busy drives wear down transmitter batteries quickly. Green flashes visible at night are good battery indicators, but nothing visible in daylight to let you know not working. Wiring needs to be a bit more substantial especially where battery pack connects.

Have had this unit for a couple of month. Works great without any problems. The sensitivity range is specified to be 30 feet, but this seems to be dependent on the temperature as this is a PIR sensor and when tested it worked 20 to 25 feet for me. Don't know about the range between the sensor and base station as mine are at most 60 feet apart. Used in detecting a person passing a certain area. Uses a single tone (one beep for sensor one, two beeps sensor two etc.) and has no volume adjustment; the newly released CWA2000 allows for volume adjustment. Have no complaints related to build quality.
