I listen to audio books on my iPod every time I get a chance and these are perfect. The sound is great, they take up very little space and can be worn in one ear so I can hear what's going on around me (like the phone or door or husband) if I want. The only problem I have with them is the cord is so long it's constantly getting caught on stuff. I put the cord under my shirt when I think of it and that helps a bit. Hopefully, cordless earphones are on the horizon.
These particular earphones are great because they are fairly inexpensive but high quality. I occasionally listen to music on them and the sound is fabulous.

Good sound quality, don't fall out, only problem is occasionally one of the rubber bits will get stuck in my ear, but you can fish it out, it's just a little awkward. Great headphones though.

These are the only headphones that actually fit inside my ears and don't fall out. Since they have three sizes of ear phone covers I can pick which ones fit best. I really love these headphones.

These buds have great sound and do a good job blocking out peripheral noise. I especially like that they come with different size earbud covers as I have really small ears. My one complaint is that the covers don't stay on as tightly as I'd like--I lost one and had to order a whole replacement set that only comes with all 3 sizes again. But I guess I should have stored them in the little case it came with.

Great sound but the plastic heads keep falling off, and they don't stay in your ear if you move around too much.
That said, im pretty happy, just don't buy these for use in the gym/cycling/running etc
