This was very easily installed into my imac computer, adding wireless internet capability making my life easier. Apple makes the best products and is far ahead of the competition, in my experience. I still own earlier Apple computers and they've worked consistently better than any made by other companies - remaining very functional and are worth upgrading. It may be an "older" Apple Airport Extreme Card, but the quality and functionality are cutting edge to this day. Worth every penny spent.

The Airport Extreme Card was fine. Not sure why it didn't work a good distance from the Network module. Other computers do work from that distance but we just moved our Macintosh G5 closer and the problem was solved. Great that we could get online that way.

The Airport Extreme delivers as promised. So simple and quick to install, and I was on the (wireless) internet in mere minutes. Apple's definitely got this one down! Why did I wait so long to try it...

Easy to install on my old eMac. I already had a wireless network working so from opening the box to being online took no more than 15 minutes.

This card fits the 2005 flat panel iMac with the ball base. I had the AirPort Express card out of the box and installed in my iMac in less than 10 minutes. As soon as the software installed, the WiFi nearest me was connected. Speed is incredible. If you buy without software, download from Apple ahead of time. Give yourself some overlap time if you're changing e-mail addresses.
