I got the book brand new, no complaints there, however if there was a notation somewhere stating that the book was out of stock when I purchased it, would have been helpful. I had to wait two weeks to receive my book when I should have waited two days (I paid additional money for the next day shipment).

I needed this book for my African American Lit class.. This book was required so it must have been a good choice for the teacher to choose it and for the school to allow the teacher to use it. But it does also have some very good reading inside of it!!..
