| It took me about 5 minutes to program and it works fine with my old Magnavox DVD player, whose remote just stopped working. What's nice about this remote is that there's a separate set of buttons for skipping chapters on a DVD and for fast forwarding on the DVD. When these features are shared, you often accidentally skip a DVD chapter when you only want to scan forward a minute. |

Works OK on my Sharp VCR.
My original sharp remote control broke and I am just happy this one does everything I want. Do not loose the manual! If you do check up this site:

| I have prehistoric Megnavox TV, with very much battered remote control which stopped working. I didn't want to spend money on buying another TV so I bought universal remote control, which would not work with it. Then I came across this product on Amazon and ordered it. I was not expecting to work as it states that it works with TVs after 1990 but guess what it works with my TV perfectly. Also, it is very powerful, I use it from inside my blanket and it works. I am very happy with this product, it saved from buying a new TV. |
