I always think back to when he came on the scene on Moonlighting. Liked his character of course, but it never occurred to me that he would become a great actor like he has. Since then he's established himself as the sure thing in movie quality. He had to go a bit with this character, bad guys make him work harder I think. As mentioned by others some of the special effects were cheesy but consider the time it was made, 1997. It's an edge of your seat thriller from start to finish and has a very satisfying ending. Great cast, even Richard Gere turns in a good performance, and it's good to see Sidney Poitier again. He does a great job. I highly recommend this movie for action thriller fans.

I have read almost every author in both genres. In my opinion, the greatest books in fantasy are The Lord of The Rings/George RR Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice series/anything by Terry Pratchett/and Sir Thomas Malory's Le morte d'Arthur. In sci-fi, I have read everything by Asimov, Clarke, Vinge, Niven, you get the idea. Roger Zelazny is the best writer of all with the possible exception of Tolkein. Amber is stunning in it's breadth, originality, depth of characters, creativity, action, humor...I really can't get over what a great book it is. I view it as a combination of fantasy and sci/fi, some may disagree. As such, it's the best of all. Of the thousands of books I've read, it's in the top five now. If it wasn't for LOTR I would likely say it's my number one of all time. But since I'm sure I'm forgetting some great books and authors, I'll confidently say top five. I am now buying Zelazny's other books, most used paperbacks of course. Read this book, you will love it.

Incredible cast, great acting, complex storyline, you won't expect what happens. Lots of action, some laugh out loud lines. I was stunned by how good this movie is. It stays with you also. Right up there with The Usual Suspects if you can believe that.

This is nothing more than a toy. Image quality is very poor, build seems cheap. Bought it when they were selling for $900 a couple months ago, can't believe they are $1400 now. Don't waste your money, the gen-3's will be this price soon.

I'd never even heard of it before seeing it offered as a rental on Itunes movie selections a couple weeks ago. Came to Amazon to read the reviews first, and decided to buy it here when I read what everyone had to say. Count me among those who think it's the greatest western ever made, heck it's one of the greatest movies ever made. Previously I would have said either Unforgiven, or Silverado, or maybe Tombstone were the best westerns. They are great movies, but this one is in another class, all by itself. I'm in awe.
