![]() | "Uplifting Page Turner" | 2009-07-18 |
| Debbie Macomber is a talented writer. I couldn't put this book down until I finished. I enjoyed reading about the three angels dispatched to earth to answer prayers. It was at times predictable but still very entertaining. It was also encouraging and uplifting. | ||

| I loved this book. It was about three angels sent to help with prayer requests. The three angels dispatched were Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy. They each had an assignment but often discussed each other's assignments and offered advice.
Although it was predictable, it was uplifting and heartwarmimg. | ||

| I loved this book. Jude did an excellent job on this one. The story kept me interested and it was very entertaining. The setting in medieval times was very interesting. I thought the part about Alyx disguising herself as a boy was a bit far fetched. However people were generally smaller back then, perhaps this wasn't so unbelievable. All in all a great read! | ||

![]() | "A Wonderful Story" | 2009-06-29 |
| I loved this book. It was the first book i have read by Kaye Gibbons and it certainly will not be my last. The story centers on a turn of the century midwife and follows her life to the end. The granddaughter is telling the story. I could not put the book down. It totally captivated me. The title is certainly a story in itself. It did not mean what I had predicted. You shouldn't miss the one. It is great! | ||
| All the Best, George Bush: My Life in Letters and Other Writings | ||
![]() | "Amazing Book Amazing Man" | 2009-04-01 |
| I enjoyed reading this book about our former president. The letters he wrote to his family, friends, and others showed a personal side to this great man. One thing that was apparent in his letters is that he loves his family very much and that he has a very funny sense of humor. He is a wonderful writer and could express himself very well in his letters. It was interesting seeing a different side to the Nixon administration and Watergate as well as other memorable historical times. This is an excellent read, you will not be disappointed | ||

| Jake makes the decision to stop talking after he has fight with his best friend. During the fight he said some awful things that he can't take back. Jake thinks if he starts communicating in writing instead of talking, he will have more control of his words. I couldn't put this book down. I wondered what it would be like to communicate with written words only. Would Jake be able to survive in college with only written communication? This was a very interesting premise for a story and I enjoyed it very much. | ||
