| Great when it works. The hard drives are not great though and once it starts to freeze sell it quick or plan in getting another. Repairing it will cost as much as buying a new one. If you have a service plan turn it in near the end of your plan for sure. I have owned three models and cared for them well. Only one lasted more than a year before choking and dying. It was always the hard drive! I am ready for flash memory in these things the spinning hard drive models are crap -- fundamentally a bad idea. Otherwise I agree that ipods rock. Great for music but BEST OPTION for porting large files of data between work and home. | ||

| Perhaps this is aimed at a novice landscaper or plant enthusiast, but as I botanist....I LOVE it. The photos are great and unrivaled. There are photos for identifying plants in any season (leaves, bark, flower, fruit). There is also a companion in my collection for TREES. I recommend them both for the same reasons. Some times a botanical key is not enough to jog my memory. | ||

| While many Edith Doll books are outdated socially (spankings, poor family relations). This book is a gem. It would be a great Christmas gift or a gift for a knitter. The images are great and the messages are great. Edith is making her gift by hand. Her brother (Little Bear) is trying to help and Edith doesn't want to listen. Little bear teases her stubbornness, just like a friend should. The Bears visit their cousins for Christmas (sledding, ice skating, tree decorating, presents) and the family picture is nice. Edith comes up with a creative solution to her knitting disaster that pleases everyone and brings the loving family together. OK, so this paragraph might be pushing it, but it has merit. I like that the family units in this book are not traditional. No kid would question the bear/doll family units. They are toys, but I suppose if you were looking for a book that was inclusive of race, adoption, physical differences, and sexual relations, this book might be one to pick up. You could infer that the two male bear cousins were gay lovers under cover (2 old male bears living to together in the country) The book could also illustrate diversity. Everyone loves Edith. There is no mention that she is different, though she is clearly physically very different from the rest of the family (and adopted!). This world is a happy world full of very real love and devotion. | ||

| This book exceeded my hopes. It had many more images in full color than I expected for such a cheap book. I have seen other books by Verneuil and they were half as nice and mostly black and white. I think anyone into decorating, drawing, and painting will like this book. It will inspire you to create art nouveau lines and flowers on your own work. | ||

| This is great for botanist and gardeners. I am a botanist and will say that these pictures are worth a thousand and one words. It is faster to look though this book than search the web, when you are trying to remember a flower because the images are so clear and vivid. They are arranged by scientific families and there is a glossary of common and scientific names. The book is VERY heavy and the pages are glossy (got for free super saver shipping!). It is necessary that this book be hardback, because it will be used. I have artist friends that have borrowed it to sketch from. Friends have looked though it to get ideas for planting flowers and researching native blooms. I wish I had had this book as a child, because I loved plants then too! Be sure to get the set(book on shrubs too). If you buy the set, instead of one at a time, the books come in a box. I purchased my set in the box while working at the New York Botanical. This box helps protect the spines and hold these huge books upright. | ||

| I am still working my way through this work, but I can say it is interesting and helped me think about my own genetics project. This is not a beginner's level book. Do not buy, it unless you have a strong foundation in population genetics, mathematics, or population biology. This is a thesis I assume and there are no pictures. | ||

| This is a great foundation book for those interested in pollination biology and systematics. It will teach you the necessary terms for understanding journal papers and give you an overview of the history of the science. This is a VERY easy read. | ||

| 512mb is good if you are recording 3-5 hours of stuff and download each day. Otherwise you can't predict when the memory will fill (file size depends on the noise level picked up). I recommend getting a device with 1gb or memory cards if you may record for more than 4 hours a day in a conference room. This machine filled up too fast and quit recording on me. Also you can't rename it the files on the device so it becomes a mess finding things--all numbers and tens of files with no dates. | ||

| If you have wanted to use a non-latex condom and Trojan Supra's (same material and more commonly in stores) did not fit or were to tight at the bottom. Avanti is the solution. They are a little larger, so they don't constrict like the supra's at the bottom. Additionally if you are trying to stay away from latex due to irritation--SPERMICIDES MAKE YOU MORE SUSCEPTABLE TO INFECTION and DISEASE. Avanti's are typically lubed without this irritant. MAJOR PLUS FOR AVANTI!!!
TOP CONDOM BY A LONG SHOT! They proved strong, even holding up to biting. | ||
