![]() | "Poor bass, uncomfortable after an hour or so" | 2009-11-11 |
| I've had these headphones for about a week and a half, long enough to give a fair judgement. I've used them for at least four hours daily during that time.
These headphones do not handle bass well at all. Anything bass-heavy (such as Nirvana's Nevermind) sounds distorted, regardless of the volume. The higher frequencies are acceptable, but with much classical music the higher frequencies sound "muddy". Note that I'm comparing these to my old Sennheiser HD-580s (purchased for ~$200 ten years ago), but the difference is very noticeable. I don't think you have to be an audiophile to notice (and be bothered by) the difference. Regarding comfort, they feel fine for the first hour or so, but eventually my ear cartilage starts to feel sore. After about two hours I have to take them off for a while. The Y-shaped cord is about four feet long, which I find sufficient. However, I prefer an L-shaped plug. | ||

| I bought this for my Sony Ericsson k750i cell phone and it works fine. "Boot-up" time is faster with this than with the Sony 64 MB Memory Stick Duo it replaced. | ||
| 28" to 42" Adjustable Satellite Speaker Stands (pair) - EFSATS | ||
![]() | "Solid stands, excellent price" | 2007-03-15 |
| I'm very pleased. Although the manual did not explicitly specify a mount for my type of speakers (the satellite speakers included with the Yamaha YHT-370 HTIB) they mounted nicely with the included "Platform J" (2 3/4"x3 1/4") and the dual-sided adhesive pads. The speakers weigh about 2 3/4 lbs. each and seem to be solidly mounted. I like the look. I don't think you can go wrong for the price. | ||
