 | The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (1964 Film) |
 | "Classic" | 2009-10-18 |
What can ya say, so much better than the first digital release. Sonically, very crisp and clean, a great job by EMI.

 | Who - Who's Next |
 | "Will there ever be "the" definitive release???" | 2009-09-04 |
Okay, what's wrong this 1995 remastered version and why the later reissues? Come on MCA or whoever, just give us the definitive remaster and be done about it - or is this it(?).

 | Elton John - Elton John |
 | "A Classic" | 2009-01-21 |
Simply stated, this is EJ's classic debut and not a dud track. Also, the remastering is perfect, removing the entire, horrible tape hiss. If not Sir Elton, then someone had the original master tapes to do the job right. Audiophiles will not be disappointed.
|
 | Elton John - Tumbleweed Connection |
 | "Elton John's classic years" | 2009-01-21 |
This is a nice follow up to his debut but a little disjointed and takes awhile to get into. But this is not ear candy so the price one must pay; a classic nonetheless. The remastering is impeccable and a collection essential.

 | The Hollies - Hollies - Hollies Greatest Hits |
 | "frontporchbanjopicker" | 2008-04-11 |
This is basically a snapshot from the Hollies top 40 career, I prefer EMI`s out-of-print mini box set version from a decade ago, even the mastering is better. However, if you want a quick dose of the Hollies, this is the CD to own.

 | Seagate FreeAgent Desktop 250 GB USB External Hard Drive ST302504FDA1E1-RK |
 | "frontporchbanjopicker" | 2008-04-11 |
A great little external drive, perfect for an iPod backup, however, not intended to run a separate OS.

 | "later fan" | 2007-05-27 |
What a fantastic recording and remastering job, Donovan's Superlungs should've been a single. Just let your imagine roll hearing Terry as lead singer of Led Zeppelin as originally conceived by Jimmy Page - my lord! Hindsight is 20/20. Anyway, looking forward to future releases by Terry -Rock ON!

 | Max Morath - Presenting That Celebrated Maestro/Oh, Play That Thing!: The Ragtime Era |

Saw Max in concert during the ragtime resurgence in the 70's, these recordings bring it all back from the hands of the master.
|

 | "postfolkie" | 2006-11-04 |
This is essential for any commercial folk music collection. Bob set the stage for was to come from this genre. Buy and enjoy, every track a classic!
|
 | Ben Folds - Rockin' the Suburbs |
 | "musicman" | 2006-07-14 |
Too bad Ben Folds doesn't get much ear-play or any other PR. Just give this CD a listen and you'll appreciate the texture of his music. Rock on, Ben, will look forward to more great releases.
|
 | Lou Rawls - Stormy Monday |
 | "Rawl's Fan" | 2006-03-22 |
This is an essential addition to a Pop or Jazz catalogue. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
|
 | Alan Jay Lerner - My Fair Lady (1956 Original Broadway Cast) |
 | "Banner Elk Man" | 2006-03-10 |
This is the definitive recording even though it's in Mono. Add the 1959 London cast recording to complete your collection, etc.. Crank up the monaural volume and enjoy!
|
 | Tears for Fears - Everybody Loves a Happy Ending |
 | "megafan" | 2004-10-16 |
Wow, what an "album"! The less words the better; simply put, this is one of the greatest releases of '04, decide for yourself. Hope to see Curt and Roland at Grammy's. Excellent work, me've got your next CD on reserve.

 | Brian Wilson - SMiLE |
 | "megafan" | 2004-10-16 |
Too many words would do no justice to this work of art - and what a helluva band!! Let's rejoice that Brian finally got the chance to finish his "masterpiece" and will look forward to the "follow-up". Go for it Brian!
