Awesome trash can. Now you never have to touch a dirty trash can to throw something out again. It even has buttons to keep the lid open for extended clean up. Down side is that it is top heavy because of the D batteries and you have to fiddle wtih it to put it on flush. Also, you have to let it close on its own or it will stop working. MOST important -- there's a black collar you have to put inside over your trash bag to keep the bag stationary and for the top to rest on. Be very careful not to throw this away with the trash, which is very easy to do.

I've been using Omron Wrist Blood Pressure Cuffs for years now. I like this one because they made it much smaller and sleeker. This is very handy to have around. I have to check my pressure a few times a day. This is very easy to operate. It also has an internal memory to keep I think the last 14 readings along with their dates and times. It's simple one hand operation, and it has an automated positioning system so it will work when your arm is at the correct level with your heart. You don't have to pump anything up. It's all automatic. You can also set it for right or left wrist use. Has a nice carrying case. You can also bring it to the doctor to show him or her your recent readings. You can just scroll through them. I got one for my parents, and they love it too.

We've been using Quicken for a few years and love it. Quicken 2010 is a pain. We use Windows XP. The very first time I used it, it simply exited when I hit Print Checks. We had to go back to a restore point before the 2010 installation and NOT back it up because if we backed it up, the same problem would re-occur. We would then have to do the whole restore point thing over again and manually re-enter transactions. Totally time consuming AND you could miss stuff and screw up your register. Recently, the same problem would happen whether we backed it up or not. Quicken's technical support dept. advised us to uncheck the option for duplicate checks. That has seemed to fix it, but this is a major problem they missed.
