the only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is so darn hard to balance, even with a tripod. Also, it doesnt help your zoom range so much as it extends your maximum zoom (all the middle zooms are lost to the inside of the barrel).

For the price, it is hard to beat this one. The depth of field is small, because the lens is so powerful. After getting used to it for about five minutes, it was easy to use. Ignore the moron at the bottom that slams raynox, gets fine customer service, and blows up because of his own stupidity. Guarantee a professional photographer would have looked into what lens adapters work with their equipment.
Works well with a Fuji s7000, but getting that perfect focus takes some manual focus work.

The space is nice, but it is slower than imaginable. I have never seen something take so long to store a 5 picture burst.. it takes almost 6 seconds for me. Not that I am a professional or anything, but if your subject is moving relatively quickly, 6 seconds is long enough for it to be gone after you snap your first few.
