It works and does excatly what it is supposed to do. It comes with two plastic cases (one for 20 and 60G) that fit over a heavy base.

For me the best part of this device was the heavy base. This means when my iPod is not in it...it still stays where I put it.

This is by far the worst business book I have read in recent years. It is hard to believe that Andy Grove actually thought that this material was worth putting into a book. As other reviews have said, this book at most should have been a short article in Business Week...but even then it would require some actual content to make it worth reading. The best part of the book is the quotes on the cover from Steve Jobs et al. It makes me wonder if they even read the book.

This book has everything going for it.

1. It is small
2. It is packed with information
3. Definitions are concise yet complete
4. It covers many basic business concepts as well.

This is the worst book I have read all year. I was really excited to get the book, but as I started to read it I found the plot very weak and the characters shallow. If this book were any longer I would have thrown it out. I still can't figure out what people see in this book. The message is obvious after the first person you meet in heaven. Furthermore, the message is nothing that has not been said in a hundred other (and far better) books...or films for that matter (think It's a Wonderful Life)

This is just a fun movie. Yes, it is unbelievable, yes it is a bit dorky but hey so is Disneyland and it's a lot of fun. If you like movies like Goonies ect then get this film.

Rated 4 Stars"Great buy!!" 2004-05-31
This does exactly what it says it will do, has great sound, easy to set up and get started, lots of tones and other options. Overall great product but let me add a few things I wished were different.

More rhythms

Keyboard does not save last tone when you turn it off ( you may be able to do this but I have yet to figure it out)

Many of the songs included are lame

Casio includes a service where you can download more songs but they have like 50 songs there and it seems like a web site that they may have forgotten about since many of the "coming soon" dates are from 2000 and 2001. Also, you cant download the songs directly to your keyboard they remain on your PC.

If these features are not important to you then this is a great buy.

TIME AND AGAINTIME AND AGAIN
Rated 3 Stars"Still looking for a great time travel book" 2002-05-30
I am a huge fan of time travel books but for some reason I have yet to find one that really captures my imagination. They all sound good on the dust cover and yet when you get into them the fascination wears off quickly. Usually, its that the scientific (or pseudo science) aspect of it seems to be lacking or a brushed over. Its as if the author did not have enough imagination or did not do enough research to come up with an interesting and believable mode for the time travel event.

That certainly seems to be the case with Time and Again. Jack Finney did a horrible job of convincing the reader of the feasibility of time travel and thus took a bit away from the wow factor of the book. Basically it was the same idea that was used in the Christopher Reeves movie Somewhere in Time where in the case of Time and Again the main character (and in two instances a female companion) travel through time via hypnosis. This idea seems a bit wacky since the trip is described as a physical transplantation in time not just a mental. That is, the subject has physically left one scene and is transported to another.

I also found the mystery aspect of this book just plain silly and poorly thought out. Some of the reasons behind why the characters do certain things seemed to make no sense other than to allow the author to place them in the right situation so the next predictable event can take place. This certainly is not a thinking persons book.

I did however, find the bloom on the rose when the story described the New York of the past. Jack Finney does such and excellent job in describing this long lost New York that I really could see it. Jack did not seem to miss a detail and really focused in on what to us may be the mundane and commonplace but to someone who has just traveled back in time 100 years

Dracula (Signet Classics (Paperback))Dracula (Signet Classics (Paperback))
Rated 4 Stars"I think I have seen to many movie versions!" 2002-03-18
Don't get me wrong this was a great read, it's just that for the most part the suspense was lacking. I suspect this is because the Vampire character is such a part of our popular fiction culture. Really, with the vast numbers of works, both film and novels, that have spun off since Dracula was published, it was no wonder I felt I had read this book before.

Still, there is something about hearing the story from the original source. I found the format of the book (i.e. being told through the diaries and journals of the participants) a great format. As I mentioned for the most part suspense seemed to be lacking however, the opening sequence with Harker at the castle kept me on edge...What was going to happen next, how was he going to get out of there!

I gave this book 4 stars because all in all it was a pretty good read and...well it is a classic.

Animal FarmAnimal Farm
Rated 5 Stars"Fun, Fun... plus a message too" 2002-03-18
Look, I'm not going to sit here and write yet another review gushing about how I "got" the socio-economic message in this book. It was undeniably present from the first page to the last. What I enjoyed most about this book was that it was a fun read. You do not have to have aspirations to be a UN delegate to enjoy this book. I mean, lets face it, reading about animals taking over a farm is fun stuff. Couple that with the fact that this book is a short 140 pages well, I think it is just about the perfect read for anyone. With a book this good and this short the traditional excuses of "too much school work" or "too busy at the office" just don't fly. Turn off the TV, power down the video game and take you mind on a journey.

Oh, and try this little experiment, once you have read it keep it on the shelf then read it again in 10 years or so, it will be like a whole different book.
